Course Curriculum Overview

My pattern was 2019 credit pattern. For 1st year it was all very basic which helpful for beginners but afterwards it completely jumps to complete AI and data science. Although it mostly covers all major computer topics.

Internships Opportunities

Internship contains marks in 3rd yr so every student must do that . I opted for other company outside college, but college does provide internship opportunity . There are departments , projects and domains in which you can do internship, it may or may not be paid.

Placement Experience

Major perk of this college is that it provides really good placement opportunities, but provided students must have that skillset in them. Many companies come to college. I myself got 3 offers . But the thing is once you get placed on campus you can't sit for another company on campus

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is pretty good . As I was a reservation student I used to get scholarship so it was pretty easy for me . But for almost all categories they provide really good scholar choices, for hostel also . And they do provide campus employment opportunities.

Campus Life

College provide ld a great exposure and when it comes to clubs and activities. Top notch activities are done. Once they called the chainsmokers, thenn kimmlee. And celebrities do come here frequently .

Hostel Facilities

There are private and college hostels. They have mess facilities too but preferably you must go for private hostels. College hostels have lots of restrictions. Also the one seeking flats, they are pretty affordable too

Hostel Fee: INR 65000 per year

Admission

College accepts both JEE and MHTCET. I took admission through MHTCET. Cut off was pretty high for computer. And talking about admission process it is almost equal for every college. You've to do certain hardwork for it . Once documentation is done it's pretty easy

Some teachers are really good at their subject, while some just come and read pdf n go. They are suppotive as well. Teachers are sufficiently qualified, while some were really good and highly qualified and had really good knowledge about their subject .

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. Actually I applied to various colleges but due to slightly less percentage than the cut-off Didn't get admission anywhere else for my desired branch. Through my MHTCET exam i got enrolled in this college as it was the only one in my marks range regarding computer branch. I would i have got better colleges but the branch will be Electronics or mechanical or civil maybe. Our college has better campus area than other ones.The ambience is so so good. But from teaching and placement and internship perspective it is not so good than other colleges.
