Nitk review

We have huge number of advanced topics in all areas. In first year only, we had faced advanced mathematics. Our projects are beyond expectations, That's the main reason why we have best placement. System of exams are really awesome. We have 4 level exams. They divide them in 10 % 25% 15 % 50% . We have relative CGPA system. You also have supplementary exams if you want better marks than pervious. Fact is that professors will take extra classes those who have not yet passed. If you caught cheating during exams, you marks will really reduce.

We have good intership opportunity. Every companies starts coming in 3rd year. You could expect 30k per month from intership. If you want to enter Google, you should get intership in Google. If you want to get intership before 3rd year, you can go for ofcampus or many times you can work with professors. Professors will provide many projects. If you want further projects, you can get it from professors.

If you want good placement, better be have atleast 7 CGPA. Our college has bes campus placement. We have average package of 22 lakhs. Google Microsoft O9 solutions and many more companies comes. We have about 60 lakh of highest package. About 80 percent were getting placements. I don't have any plans after degree though securing job in good company is only my plan.

All Iits and Nits have same system. Students will have tution fee with hostel and mess fee along with small stuffs. Tution fee will get reduced if your income is less. If you are cast is either SC or ST, you don't have to pay tution fee. Nsp is best scholarship for those who have problem in family background. All you have to do is to apply nsp properly and provide your document consistently. For first year, you could get 1 and half lakh. And some times your professors also provide some scholarship. In our college mechanical and electrical students will get scholarship by their department.

We will do biggest festival in south India called Incident. Once I was volunteer in that Incident. It is conducted by students by collecting money from big companies. Since our college is in coastal place, we could have other festival called 'kola'. We have many books. Many of them were written by our professors. Our sports system is quite good. Every class rooms have good projectors connected with big speakers. Every person in their desk will have current box. We have many clubs, Nitk racing, iet, IEEE, acm and many more clubs are there.

Our hostel facility are quite good but may be doesn't met my expectations. We will have fan, cupboard, one bed, desk. You should have current heater if you want to bath in hot water. We have two type of mess, veg mess and non veg mess. Veg mess is normal, you would get some soya Gobi and many sweets and fruits. In non veg mess except Tuesday everyday have atleast one non veg meal either it will be chicken or egg. It's absolutely affordable for room because it's just 9 k for whole year but you should decide about mess it's 30 k per sem.

Mainly i don't like caste system. If you are either SC or st, your tution fee will be zero Nevertheless of your financial condition. And I don't like caste system in entering college. Is see many AIR 1300 students is with AIR 100000 due to caste system. If you want to enter our college, you should write JEE mains. If you had 12 marks card in Karnataka, you may have 50 percent reservation.

I personally think all professors are very well trained. You can see a lot of professors who had written many books. All professors have best experience, you barely see any young professors. Some professors are strict but most of them are friendly if you talk with them. They really gives us best projects to do, personally I got intership opportunity from them too. Some times their students will come to teach. Most of them are PhD students. Professors have also appointed many seniors as mentor for us.
