Likes

The environment is very nice away from the city and everywhere tree planted.There no noice of vehicles.
Many programs/event are held frequently such as Karla,etc.
The teacher of the college are friendly.We are free to interact with them whenever we want.

Course Curriculum Overview

The degree is designed to give practical experience for the students in the form of project ,industrial visit,interactin with the expert from the industry.If we prefer to do BBA degree it will be good Choi as we can know basics about Human Resources Management.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 360000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is reasonable as they provide quality services. There are many scholarships for students like students from Sikkim state get 50% off in the fees and students who are single children(female) get 20% off.

Campus Life

The experience is good, it really feels like we are in college. Everything is provided in the college like a swimming pool, gym, library, etc. There are parks where students can sit in the off periods and just chill. The library is good, with good stocks of books.

Admission

The admission process is good the faculty is friendly which make us easier to communicate and easy to complete the admission process.No such qualifications are needed for Sikkim students but students outside the state have to give online interview

The faculty are well educated from India's top colleges and have very good teaching skills which make it easier to understand the topic. All the faculty members are friendly with everyone. There is no inequality between the students.

Placement Experience:

There was no placement facilities in the college honestly. I have suffered so many years but I got a job in Bank after facing so many interviews So if you are thinking that Sikkim Manipal University provide you the placement facilities, don't make a dream like this. It is bitter truth that the college does not provide any placement

Placement Experience:

After reaching 6th semester the students get eligible for placement. The students are trained too for the placement process.. The companies visited in our clg are Bajaj finance,HDFC Bank, Moengage,KPMG, UNIQLO etc. The highest package offered till now to my knowledge is provided by Moengage.. The package was 9.25LPA. Regarding the % of students getting placed i think it's 50 % the opportunity is provided to all but to get placed its totally upto the students. My plans after completion of my degree is to get placed in a good company as a manager. Work for 1-2 years and join iim for MBA .

Nice college for distance education

Remarks:

Initially they were providing the weekend classes to the students but later they stopped doing this. So I want them to continue that things with online lectures

Entrance Preview:

No Entrance required as I applied for BBA. I selected this course because I am already working as an associate for an organisation. So I wanted to enhance my career path. Joined wisely

I was selected in for Downtown university but for my personal ease i choose to study in SMIT. No i was not being rejecte form any colleges. Due to some of my personal problems i decided to joing SMIT as wishing to study at the college situated over my own state.
