Likes
- Faculty is good for almost all non clinical subjects and classes are regular so it's good thing today as many colleges have the problem of inadequate faculty.
- Since there are only 100 students so we can easily get access to teachers and laboratories which is sometimes difficult in case of bigger batches
Dislikes
- Being a govt college infrastructure is very poor. Although the new campus is being built but present condition is worse
Course Curriculum Overview
I always aspired to become a doctor. Though mbbs is very tough. It demands your time, dedication, hard work, sleep, and everything. But in the end, it is worth everything. It prepares an individual to tackle the pressure and difficulties we face when we practice medicine. There is always a scope for improvement. I would suggest that something should be done to decrease the mental fatigue and depression cases which are increasing day by day In medical colleges leading to suicides. There should be counselling from time to time to assess the mental, physical, and social state of the person Internal exams occur in every 3-4 months and university exams occur at the end of the year as per nmc and university schedule. The exams are pretty tough as it's a professional exams and are according to the nmc guidelines.
Internships Opportunities
Since it's an mbbs course so there is no such companies. We get to do internship after our course which is a govt service and govt pay for it Can't rate my internship experience as I am in 2nd year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fee is 4500 per semester and there are two semesters in a year and admission fee 1000(one time) and a caution deposit 1000(one time and refundable) No increase in tution fee. Complete cost of education- Tution fee 4500*9=40500, Hostel fees 144*5 = 720 The scholarship is available for state quota students- Swami Vivekananda scholarship program - 60000 per annum for students scoring 60% marks in final university exams The stipend is 30000 approx. for interns
Campus Life
No such annual festival ( as it's a new college). Freshers welcome for juniors held annually known as AMOGH, The Inexorable. The library is small but has sufficient books and journals. There is a student unit associated with politics in college which arranges every small and big event in the college and acts as an interface between students and college authority.
Hostel Facilities
Rooms are of average size and have good ventilation and beds with mattresses are provided. For every individual, a table and chair are given. A single Almirah is given to all students in a single room. Hostel is very affordable only 144 rs per year
Admission
Eligibility- Neet qualified and depending on the cut-off for the college, 10+2 PCB. All the forms, fees and other details we got on reaching the college. I am an unreserved category student, so no reservation benefit is availed. Exam already answered in previous parts The admission process is very simple so no areas for improvement.
Faculty
As I mentioned earlier we can easily access our professors talk to them and help in every way possible. All of them are qualified enough to have deep knowledge in their fields I often interact with my professor in my free time and whenever I have any doubts regarding the academics I ask them.
