Diploma Courses Details
Automobile, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Civil, Metallurgical. Duration- 3 Years
Course Type- Full Time
Eligibility- Candidates belonging to recognized as equivalent to SSC by A.P. Govt. Should have passed all the subjects, including Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Social Studies, or Word Processing (English) with, minimum of 35% Marks in each subject.
Candidates who have studied in Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)/ NIOS/APOSS Board Examinations recognized as equivalent to SSC by AP.
Candidates who passed SSC after clearing their compartment exams are also eligible.

GP Vijayawada Admission

Admissions for Diploma Courses in the college is through a state-level exam AP POLYCET and based on the rank obtained in the same exam.

Candidates can choose from the 6 Diploma courses on the basis of interest and rank obtained in the exam. The counselling procedure of AP POLYCET is as follows: -

Application Process

  • Visit the board website for registering for the entrance and register in the college site separately as needed.
  • Crack the exam to qualify to the counselling.
  • Then, Certificates of the Candidate are verified in Help Line Centres (HLC) as deemed by the board.
  • Then, the choice Filling takes place, wherein the candidates have to choose their preferred college as “Government Polytechnic Vijayawada” with the course. 
  • Candidates have to lock the choice filling once they have done.
  • The seat is allotment starts, which is primarily done based on choices filled and the meritorious rank secured in AP POLYCET. 
  • Each candidate has to download to have a print out of the same.
  • Finally, the candidates need to report at the allotted college within the data printed on the allotment letter with the letter to confirm the admission by paying the fees.

GP Vijayawada Placements

The technical institution has a dedicated Training and Placement Cell which helps in the training/ internship and placement-related activities for the students.

  • Companies like YMC Projects, L&T Technologies, Vedha IIT, Efftronics, Dr.Reddy’s Lab, Yamaha group, TATA projects, ESSAR Gujarat, etc. have already recruited the students into their organization by campus drives conducted in coordination with the Placement Cell. 
  • For the academic year of 2017-18, about 150 students were recruited into 15 companies that visited the college as a part of a campus drive.

Government Polytechnic Vijayawada college

Admission:

1.I choose Andhra Polytechnic Kakinada for better education it is one of the best Polytechnic college in Andhra Pradesh but my admission was confirmed in government Polytechnic Vijayawada this is also a best college in Andhra Pradesh but I think APK is better than GPV. 2.yes rejected the Andhra Polytechnic Kakinada because of my polycet rank is 31k that is my mistake so I can accept for rejection 3.10th and ITI also intermediate students can eligibility of diploma course process is write the exams of polycet conducted in several places in Andhra Pradesh get a rank in exam next counselling dates are fixing them for certificate verification then u can apply colleges then college faculty is accept of your request. And no cut off of exams my overall experience is mental because so many verifications.
