Internships Opportunities

Being from Computer Science branch, a lot of companies came for internship and placements like Deloitte, Microsoft, Snapdeal etc. The stipend various but is almost close to 15-20k per month for internships. The placement office is very efficient and so if you work hard and are passionate about any company, they will make sure you are able to sit for those companies.

Placements for MIT,Manipal has always been great. The packages start from 3 lacs and go upto 20+lacs. Companies that have come so far are Microsoft, Deloitte, Snapdeal, Amazon, Honeywell, musigma, Oracle, Citrix, Cisco, TCS, etc. Having great Alumni from our college has increased the brand value of college and so many companies come to our college.

We have a technical fest in odd semesters which is a very big event as colleges from all over india participate. Many technical clubs form college organize techfests too and their events get international participation for many online events.Cultural fest is organized in even semester called Revels and in contains many events related to Creativity writing, Dancing, Singing, Modelling, Painting, Face Painting, Photography Events and various sports events as well.

In the 5th semester, we have TCS training and placement are available and We have Placement cell they provide job-oriented programs, and VTU Belagavi University also provides campus placement offers they are reported companies are visited for hiring like TCS,Wipro,Infosys, NTT data, etc. They hire only those people having 6 cgpa and no backlogs

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester onwards you can attend campus placements. And many companies will visit and selection will depend on you. Since this year it was online the competition was huge. I think the highest package was 10LPA and the average is 3.5 to 4.5. Many got placed in different companies with different roles. My plan is to work in an MNC.

Admission:

Manipal Institute of Technology arguable underrated

Applied to VIT-V and SNU got in but found Manipal to have better infrastructure and less student intake than the others, thus this became an easy choice. Manipal takes in students through MET conducted every year after which a rank list is generated and seats are allotted through councelling, their is no management quota. The entrance exam is somewhat difficult and cutoffs for computer science and related courses would be 120 marks.
