Course Curriculum Overview

The course is quite vast. It would be considered difficult in terms of amount of things we have to study in such a short period of time. But for the ones determined to be a doctor they can go through this with flying colours

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For general category, OBC category tution fee is 60000 which is same as other government college, for SC ST there r many scolaeships available, they are also given textbooks and other studying material. For people with low income there are SSP scolarship available

The academics is good. They teach everything pretty good. Practicals are better. Dissection excellent. In terms of sociality few evebts are organized, we are also taken to different cities for.competetion and quizes

Admission

Admission was actually quite smooth if you follow all the guidelines provided by them correctly. But yes there is quite a lot to do. The thing i dint like about admission is it was totally offline and for students living in different city is difficult

Faculty

All the faculty, of every department are very well experienced and qualified in my openion, all the informatiom about them, their qualification ,eductaion is very transparent and we could acess it anytime

make your mbbs life memorable.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the classes are taken regularly in preclinical and paraclinical subject and some of clinical subjects as well. these are slidepresentation, demonstration and group discussions. there is great learning opportunities. case discusions are done in clinical postings. integrated leaning is not much practiced and would be drawback. library timings are not suitable at all.

One of the best medical college in Karnataka

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I liked Biology very much in my 11th and 12th and I also wanted to be a doctor since my childhood. Faculty:student ratio in this college is well maintained. There is 1 faculty member over 25 students. All the faculty are well qualified and experts in their fields. Some of the professors are functioning as scientists for the university and have reserved some patents for their researches. The teaching methodology is also very good and according to the latest norms set by the university. Every year you have to go through some college-level exams ( Internal Assessment) three times. And you must score at least 50% as aggregate in each subject to be eligible to give the final University Exams. All the exams taken are as per the latest Revised Scheme for evaluation set by the university. On average the difficulty of exams is high. Regular studies and consistency can make anyone pass the exams .

Nothing negative our college has maintained good greenery also it also has a separate gardening department which looks after the garden. It's a huge campus so walking around only takes a lot of time is in between Hubli and dharwad so its well accessible, this college is one of the best so no remarks

Good college with a good infrastructure and facilities but college doesn't have any canteen, students should go to hospital canteen in case. There are two hospitals in this campus. One is super speciality hospital and the other is general hospital.

Thought to complaint ended up with positives

After the NEET exam there would be counselling going on for children. And we have to put the colleges in the short list best college being in the top preference. So as but the cut off of colleges last year I have put BMC, KMC, BIMS, SIMS as the short list I got BIMS by matching my score and rank. Though is wished for kMC because my rank was close to its cutoff but I couldn't make to that college unfortunately. Coming to admission process it's kind of hectic because they ask everysingke documents for which several printouts and copies should be made and even soft copies are required. Then we have 4-5 bonds to be created. And for every single document gadget officers signature should be made which was sort of challenging. Once you got approved with documents you need to pay the fees that too cash then collect the receipt. It was a tedious process but was done on time....Read More
