Likes

Location of the college in the heart of the city. Teaching faculties are best
For vacation you can go to goa that is just 150 km away.researvh exposure is good. Departments are strict
Hospitals are having decent patients load and well equipped.

Dislikes

No such campus life due to small campus and no fests
No such ground for sports and social life in college is conservative.
Sports and extracurricular activities are not good enough.

Course Curriculum Overview

MBBS- passion and internal will power plays an important role in choosing this course. PASSION- because it is a noble job to do and satisfaction in this course is unmatchable because of patients interaction. WILL POWER- you may find this course hectic and the course duration is of 5.5 yesrs so it lengthy and you have to study a lot in this course. EXAMINATION - examination are little hectic and challenging but it can be achieveable. Exams timings depend on the universities you have been enrolled. for example my university takes exam on time and gives result on time GRADUATION after graduation you don't need to worry about jobs.it give you a sense of job ecurity in this course.

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 65000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees- 65780/--1st year including hostel fees amd security money 54000/-2nd year 79000/-3rd year 54000/-final year Hostel fees- 9000/year Mess 3000/month Its a government medical college so there is no increment fee policy. Complete cost of education is about-2.5 lakhs including your mess. There are various scholarships available for students. State quota-ssp and categories scholarship. Aiq-no such scholarship for gen ews and obc candidates. Placement - After college State quota-gets rural service in which salary-70000/month for 1 year Aiq-can go to respective state Stipend during internship -30000/month for 1 year.

Campus Life

Social aspect-No such social life except freshers parties amd graduation ceremony. Club- Few clubs are there but not that effective. Sports -No sports facilities and faculties. Classroom- Well equipped with fan,light , boards.

Admission

Eligibility is NEET +12th pcb Cutoff-2023 Aiq Gen-630 Ews-625 Obc-625 Sc-520 Admission is done through counseling after neet result for aiq there are 22 seats and state quota has 128 seats. For state quota cut offGen-580

Faculty

Faculty to students ratio is excellent i.e 1:30 in each department. Faculties are highly motivated and disciplined. Teaching faculties are one the best in india. Faculties are highly qualified.and always eager to help. Anyone can approach any faculties anytime the are very approachable. With the help of sgd and sdl they mentor us in various manner.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Same curriculum as the NMC is followed . In the beginning ears there wont be much exposure clinically like any other hospitals later on in 3rd amd 4th year there is more clinical exposure and patient interaction. According to me the exam level of 1st year is a bit tough as it is a changing phase from 12th to college and everything is new later on we get adjusted and find it easy and will understand how to phase the exam and how it is different from the previous exams of 11th or 12th . Only one exam will be for a academic year which includes the whole syllabus of that year

The title is good and best. Thete us no title better than this.

Remarks:

There are a lot of positive remarks- The college provides an exposure to the students, teaches them to stand on their on legs. The faculty are supportive but sometimes can be devastating as well. The internship is a bit hectic though.

Positive- many, cannot list all of them. Few of them include - -good exposure to patients in internship. -nice exposure in curricular and extracurricular activities like sports. -greenery around the campus -good infrastructure Negative remarks -very hot climate -water related problems in the premises -lack of cafeteria around the campus

Thought to complaint ended up with positives

After the NEET exam there would be counselling going on for children. And we have to put the colleges in the short list best college being in the top preference. So as but the cut off of colleges last year I have put BMC, KMC, BIMS, SIMS as the short list I got BIMS by matching my score and rank. Though is wished for kMC because my rank was close to its cutoff but I couldn't make to that college unfortunately. Coming to admission process it's kind of hectic because they ask everysingke documents for which several printouts and copies should be made and even soft copies are required. Then we have 4-5 bonds to be created. And for every single document gadget officers signature should be made which was sort of challenging. Once you got approved with documents you need to pay the fees that too cash then collect the receipt. It was a tedious process but was done on time....Read More
