Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I chose mbbs because it was my first ever dream as child. But little did I know the vast syllabus of this course. In my opinion mbbs is related to the world directly we have several interactions with our patients which helps us to develop the communication skills and know a person. Ofcourse our course is hell in case of studies and exams but it's really beautiful on the other hand. There is need to improvise at some areas like removing some of unnecessary things from curriculum and give purified syllabus which is actually required by the children and I don't understand the role of records, they are just waste of time and paper. Our college keeps frequent practice tests seminars so as to improve our concept clearance which is really good. Apart from this officially we will have 3 internals and a final exam which perfect frequency as per me. And level of toughness is moderate. All in all exam pattern is perfect for the students

Fees and Financial Aid

Currently I will proceed to 2nd year of mbbs. My fees in first year was 70,000 and hostel fee was 9,000 then mess fee was 3000 per month books have other expenses till 10,000. And for next 4 years this will be the fee pattern evey year. I applied for SSP scholarship and recived upto 20,000. Talking about my batchmates SC and ST people have reduced there fee to 700 rupees and upon which they will get free laptops. There are lots and lots of scholarships provided to OBCs and SC STs but for merits very least opportunities are provided

Campus Life

5

It's just been a year for me in that college and for a 1st year students there is more than enough of interactions. We have certain festivals like Ganesh chaturthi specifically is celebrated very beautifully like a event of 4-5 days then we will have freshers week and graduation ceremonies which are really amazing. Libraries is filled with all sort of books there is no need for you to buy books you spend your whole year in library and study no one is gonna ask you why. There is no shortage of books for students. Facilities needed by the students are all provided. Digital board. Educational vedios. PDFs. PPTs. Everything is provided. Our college is little less built in case of sports because we don't have enough large ground though students participate is inter College competition, but upon their own expenses. There are several Instagram accounts made by students as per their years of studying. They do go clubbing and enjoy their life to fullest. But it's necessary for the break.

Admission

After the NEET exam there would be counselling going on for children. And we have to put the colleges in the short list best college being in the top preference. So as but the cut off of colleges last year I have put BMC, KMC, BIMS, SIMS as the short list I got BIMS by matching my score and rank. Though is wished for kMC because my rank was close to its cutoff but I couldn't make to that college unfortunately. Coming to admission process it's kind of hectic because they ask everysingke documents for which several printouts and copies should be made and even soft copies are required. Then we have 4-5 bonds to be created. And for every single document gadget officers signature should be made which was sort of challenging. Once you got approved with documents you need to pay the fees that too cash then collect the receipt. It was a tedious process but was done on time.

Faculty

4.5

Coming to faculties, most of them do their jobs efficiently. For the first years it's a very good ratio of faculty to students is seen. Now to talk personally about each departments, anatomy: they are really amazing they know the time and syllabus management incredibly none of topics were left uncovered for exams while other departments rushed at the end. We have very well experienced professors in here Physiology: very helpful faculty they are really good at their topics and practicals are done amzingly and beautifully Biochemistry: we have PGs working in here hence it's a student friendly department. It's practicals are funnier than theory love this department Coming to the other side soem of the professors target the students for their behaviour ofcourse but they take their revenge in exam halls which not at all good. Leaving this aspect everything is good and perfect They participate is students celebration may it be events or functions they come & cheer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.
