Remarks

Good college with a good infrastructure and facilities but college doesn't have any canteen, students should go to hospital canteen in case. There are two hospitals in this campus. One is super speciality hospital and the other is general hospital.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

MBBS is 5 ½ years course (which includes a one (1) year internship). There will be total three (3) internals test held in one academic year followed by a final University examination. After 4½ years of academics there will be one year internship in their respective college hospital itself.

Placement Experience

5

As heard from one of our senior, our college provides a stipend of 5000 per month. In most private colleges of Karnataka stipend is not provided, so our college students have an advantage in terms of stipend. In Government colleges of Karnataka 20,000 per month stipend is provided.

College Events

4.5

Ganesha chaturti - In September we celebrated this festival. Around 5 feet Ganesha idol was kept in our college. The procession of Ganesh visharjan was very grand. Sports day - many kinds of sports were held in our college in September month like Football, Cricket, basketball, Track events etc. Culturals - grand culturals was held in the month of September. The chief guest was Bangalore Commissioner of police Bhaskar Rao and many other dignitaries were present.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees for merit seat is 1,24,450 + 75,000 miscellaneous fee. Total fees will be around two(2) lakh. The fees is feasible because many facilities are provided by the college like students can use lift, AC classrooms and many more.

Fees and Financial Aid

I do not know about the scholarships provided by our college. And I have not availed any scholarships from college. And no loan faculty is provided by our college. But students can avail loan through various Banks.

Campus Life

4.5

Labs are very well equipped and well maintained. Skilled and experienced teachers. We have a ground with turf and track for running as well. The ground is well maintained by the college. There is a facility for indoor games as well such as table tennis, badminton, carrom, chess etc.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors clear our doubts politely. They treat us well. But we have to address our seniors as Sir / Madam compulsorily. Seniors guide us what to do next, how to read, how to answer in exam and many more.

Admission

I got admission to this college through NEET exam (National Eligibility cum entrance test). I secured a marks of 486/720 in NEET exam. NEET is a common test in India to get into MBBS other than AIIMS and JIPMER. Seats are divided into AIQ (All India Quota) and SQ (State Quota). After NEET, KEA (Karnataka examinations authority) conducted online registration for students to take admission under State Quota. KEA conducted online counseling after document verification. In First round of counseling I was allotted this college. After paying the fees to KEA, I finally reported to this college.

Faculty

4.5

As I m in first year, I know only about the first year teachers. The teachers are very helpful. They ask questions in most of the classes so that we students shall be prepared and study well. Teachers are very strict when it comes to academics. The teaching here is good but not excellent. Teaching is done through a PowerPoint presentation in theory classes. Some teachers due to lack of time go little fast and some teachers explain go moderately and do well. Overall teaching is good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very comprehensive and relevant for exams but not for real world applications. I feel let the parts of body I was specially fascinating so I like anatomy very much and we also got a very good teacher, the curriculum is very good for examinations however the real wall applications of this curriculum is very little, they should be more real life applications and whatever the latest technology than studies are happening the student should get the latest info about them, timing between two exams in an internal semester should be a little more such as a day or two because we do not get time to prepare the subjects curriculum very well for the examination.
