This is one of the best medical colleges in Karnataka

Nothing negative our college has maintained good greenery also it also has a separate gardening department which looks after the garden. It's a huge campus so walking around only takes a lot of time is in between Hubli and dharwad so its well accessible, this college is one of the best so no remarks

Teaching here is awesome they follow a good curriculum set by RGUHS institute, and the way of teaching here is different compared to other colleges. We have 3 internal assessments in first year and final exams

Internships here is of one year which includes one month of rural areas service too interns have to visit PHC, RHTC, UHTC and do their internships, which gives them more exposure hence they can come out as good doctors. In hospital interns are posted of different units for a span of 15days and they get experienced in all fields our hospital has a large amount of patient inflow so it's an awesome experience. Interns are also exposed to super speciality units which is of great help. Though stipend is not that high. But sdm offers a stipend if around 30kpa

Our college has an annual fest called Deja which is organized by 3rd year students. This fest lasts for about 2 weeks and it's the most enjoyable time here. Our college also celebrates Holi in a grand manner it's awesome playing Holi. Our college celebrates other festivals too like Onam, Deepavali, etc.

Fees here is a bit expensive. For govt. Seat it'll come around lakhs /year, For private seat it'll come around 25 lakhs/year. Previously they had minority kota but now it's not there minority kota cost around 12 lakhs /year which is almost affordable

Our Karnataka govt gives us scholarship facilities its based on marks obtained in 10th and 12th and entrance score, In college there's no such facility but our college rewards the toppers of individual subjects too which is good

There's a good sports facility here volleyball cricket, football, basketball, badminton, table tennis, swimming, athletics, gym is also there hence students can make the best use of it indoor games are also there

Yes I'm a hostelite, hostel here is the best one well equipped rooms well ventilated rooms rooms are spacious hostel here is 2 sharing 2 of them stay in a room they can opt for attached toilet or can go for common toilet and bathroom we get 24hrs hot water supply good lighting well maintained cleaned everyday, Hostel has some curfew timings but its manageable

Our college has alumni meet too alumni association is also present most of the alumni here join this hospital only and it's good. Yearly there's alumni cricket meet where all come and make memories Alumni here is very active and people come every year to meet and share their success

I had interest in MBBS so i joined this college. I am from coastal Karnataka and sdm medical college has good fame all over Karnataka, I joined through NEET I didn't have a good rank but got in through minority kota, Admission process here goes on smoothly just u need all the documents, which r verified by KEA

There r some of the best lectures here whom can teach medicine like no one else. The faculty here is well qualified and everyone here has a vast experience, hence they tell their experience along with the subjects which makes it more interesting, the infrastructure of the college is also awesome well ventilated class rooms. Smart boards r also present
