Better than average. Room for improvement. A ton of room for improvement.

Entrance Preview

Heard about it,has a great reputation,good infrastructure, decent crowd. Outgoing in sports and extra curricular activities. Supporting staff is helpful. Small campus,but a good library.

Course Curriculum Overview

Moderate. Affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University. Outdated as far as the current strata of engineering students is concerned. But can't do anything to change that. Course curriculum is the same which was during the time my mother became an engineer.

Internships Opportunities

Yes. Pretty good experience. Depends on relationship with staff,and marks. Stipend depends upon branch,and company.

Placement Experience

Decent placement rate. Decent TPO. Very much depends upon your relationship with the professors. Good companies come in the final semester.

Exam Structure

Associated with Savitribai Phule Pune University. First year students have online and written exams. Second year students have online and written and practical exams. Third year students have insem theory exam and final written exam and practical along with mini project Fourth year students have the same, except for mini project.

Faculty

Some staff is really educated,hard working,strives for excellence among students. Others,not so well. Reading out of a PowerPoint presentation,not answering when questions are asked, holding grudges etc. Office staff is a different nightmare. Get the work done, but after tons of hardship.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

i had seen Companies visiting like Entrata, Airtel, Honeywell etc..... Highest package till now for currently year is 15 lacks. I had also seen students who are doing interships and are placed there only.

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

I chose this college because this college is very reputed in Pune for engineering specially electrical engineering. Admission process - You should apply through CAP process to get admission in this college. MHTCET + JEE, both scores can get you admitted in this college as there is also an all India quota. After the CAP processes are completed, you can also attend it's spot round as they are also conducted in a very systematic manner. Why this college over others? Pune vidyarthi gruha college of engineering and technology (pvgcoet) a overall great college with affordable fees

This is one of the top colleges In pune. This was the reason for me to choose this college. Comparing pvg with colleges like aissms, dy patil, modern, and many more pvg is far better in terms of placements. Didn't had the marks required to get to other colleges like vit viit pict coep pccoe etc so I choose pvg. I got a confirmed admission for keystone college but it is worse that pvg so I chose pvg. To get admission in pvg college you need to fill a form of cet. Mht cet is one of these examples. If you have passed 12th standard then apply for mht cet.
