- The teaching pattern should be changed and more focus should be on practical things rather theory.
Course Curriculum Overview
In the start of the course, there are some extra subjects like Punjabi and DrugAbuse which according to me is baseless as of 2024. Admission of the candidate is based on his/her JEE Mains Ranks. Depending on your ranks, you can choose the field in which you want to do B.Tech. Engineering. Cut-Off for JEE Mains varies each year based on number of applicants and their scores. Reserved category students benefits from lower cut-off scores. The application form can be found on the official website of GNDU (www.gndu.ac.in) or from the university. The application fee is generally around Rs. 1000/- for general category students and Rs. 500 for category students. Applications usually open in May and gets closed by the end of june. A step-by-step guide would help applicants a lot.
Faculty
Mostly teachers teach through the ppt and notes provided by them which is not much good and not too bad also according to my experience. It depends on you whether your mind is in class or not. Teachers are very interactive and they encourage the students and engage them with clearing their doubts. Faculty members have much professional experience in their fields. Many of them have strong academic background related to their subject. Most of the teachers are doctorate in their respective fields.
