I am Very Lucky to Be in KIIT

Yes, everything is good here. I never miss a day of my college life. If any day I miss the whole day stays hollows. The bad thing is my college should do something for economically backward classes. Else I love my college.

I am very ambitious to be a civil engineer. My parents and I choose this as it has a very peaceful atmosphere for studying and their highly intelligent lectures. I have also listened about its founder Achyuta Samant ray who is a very social worker. He was born very poor. He has done a lot of thing for the people. I am also inspired by him. So why I joined this as I prefer him as my idol.

The course is very good. I am getting more into it. Now I am in the 1st year. Our 1st semester is a couple of months ahead. I am preparing for that and too excited and nervous at the same time. I am now new about the study of civil courses. As I just have passed my +2. So I am getting acquainted with the course of BTech civil engineering.

No internship provided here. But the college has pg courses after btech. The stipend is given to PG students. I don't know how much they get.

Yes, lots of placements and job opportunities are here every year. Tha why my parents choose this university. This is among top colleges of India and top in Odisha. As this is my first year of admission. The placements allow only final year students. Many students get a very good opportunity with high pay scales. Mostly all the students get the opportunity. We can say here our life is secured as very good brand companies come here every year.

Every week events are celebrated. Many celebrities come as guest Top celebrities too. This college is perfect for amusements along with the study. Very good musicians, Inspiring speakers, Moral Speakers came in weekly event. The most famous rapper honey Singh also have come here. Odisha's CM came here every annual function of the college

It's quite feasible or we can say a little expensive for mid-range families like me. Its 90k per annum for every 4 years of admission. The semester fees are different. The fees can be deposited in installments also like me. Scholarships also provided the way of discount on the annual course fee. Anyone can make study loan with a low-interest rate.

Yes, scholarships also offered to those who score good Rank in JEE main. Loan facility also available. Some of my friends are pursuing a loan for their study.

Inside the college, there is a GYM, Swiming pool, Auditoriums, Canteen, Large parking places. I can't say exactly about the gender ratio. I think its equal boys and girls there. On the whole, nearly 3000-4000 students studying in different branches and courses. Debates, Blood donations, Social service works all held here.

Though I am a day scholar I travel by college bus. My close friends stay in the Hostel. According to the hostel is quite good and food are of good quality with varieties of disses. Lots of hostels there for boys and ladies. Food service is too much good here.

Yes, some very successful students who have achieved their top are invited and awarded. They too inspire us to never give up about Life. We have to catch the top.

Semester wise exam. We have to clear 6 semesters along with 6 mid semesters to be a certified civil engineer. If any student tops in the aggregate of all semesters He wins the gold medal from very high commissioners. This year our new president Ramnath Kovind awarded medal.

After my 12th in CHSE I got 75.19% I write JEE main and scored average of 85 marks in total. The rank was not though good enough. My parents decided to make my admission here. They consulted in council for admission of KIIT and my admission was completed very easily.

The faculties are too nice to all of us. There is also doubt clear season weekly of every faculty. They are very intelligent and are like a knowledge house. All are my favorite. I never miss any classes. The faculties are more serious than students. They come to teach despite little illness.
