Sports complex is present for for playing basketball amd badminton
Cricket oval is there for cricket players .It's well maintained
Good teaching and nice campus ambience...

Dislikes

Academic stress is there.But that's common in this course
Hospital is not that much hygienic.Canteen also
College is away from main road.So transportation is somewhat difficult at night

Exams are conducted every week.Usually previous year questions are asked.MCQ s are also included in our exams.So it helps us in preparing for pg entrance too..Difficulty level on rating we can say 9/10

Fee structure :24500 per yr For hostel :40Rs per month for accommodation For food:3500Rs per month For books:10K per yr But as scholarship egrantz since I'm an obc student I get 32500Rs.So this won't become a burden to our family

Our college os yhe best college for sports and other extracurricular activities. Especially because of indoor stadium, cricket oval,cricket nets,gootball ground ,gymnasium nd so many. Also frequent programmes are present

Hotel is good.3 people per room .Separate bed is available. Hygiene us well maintained. FOOD is average. Daily non veg is present.Mosquito is a problem.Hostel is located near the clg.Only 400m away from clg

Admission

We get admission here only through NEET exam. Cut off here was 620 on 2022.Lasy 2 years it increased.After publishing NEET and KEAM rank we give clg options for allotment .Then according to our score a college will be alloted for us

Faculty

It's a student friendly campus . There's a healthy relationship maintained between student's and teachers. Only problem here is work load.They give us continuous seminars projects etc.For every 20 students 1 faculty is available for each subject

Life at SUTAMS

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course not due to the curriculum..i qlways dreamed of becoming a good doctor.The level.of satisfaction you get in this profession wont be anywhere else.The modernization of curriculum has stressed on the clinical aspects which i think is the core of medicine. We have been taken to bedside and taught to examine patients diagnose the case and interpret imaging.Also the skill lab clears the obstruction we face in a real life like we are being trained in BLS and ALS. Our junior batches are also taken to trivandrum medical college to see autopsy which in fact is a real opportunity. The course could improve in a way that apart from academics it must give importance to sports arts also which is not promoted in our college.Also revisions classes can be made effects by conducting small test papers chapter wise instead of taking chapters on repetition. Exams are almost done in an effective way. The course is actually very difficult compared to others.So much effort has to be put in from both students and Teacher's side.

Remarks:

The hostel and college infrastructure are a little poor compared to other colleges but it is expected with the minimal fees given. There are a lot of festivals and programs and a healthy political atmosphere. The non violent conflicts between the two opposing parties lead to good development in the college.

Thrissur is where I have my home so my first preference was always Thrissur. The other colleges I looked at we're Kozhikode Medical College, TDMC Allapuzha, Madras Medical College. These are all good colleges but ultimately too far from my home. Admission process through TMC is via NEET. General category in 2023 got in through cut off marks of 630-640. I had applied government medical college Kozhikode, Thiruvananthapuram, Alappuzha and Manjeri.The infrastructure facilities are better here than manjeri.
