Delhi's second IIT, DTU

I really love my course as I am interested in theoretical physics. My course covers almost all the elements from quantum physics to Newtonian physics . This course prepares us really well for carrying out our own research in the future and being a successful scientist . The curriculum could benefit if the course is more distributed and not so condensed. The exam frequency is okay and gives us enough time to prepare.

There are plenty of internship opportunities in the college but we become eligible after 1st year . The internships offered vary from computer based internships from companies like WIPRO to on site internships from companies like Budweiser. Since I am only in 1st year I am not aware about the projects

Students become eligible for campus placements in 6th semester . Many big companies visit the college and there are very big offers each year and even offers upto 1.5cr have been made . The average package for CSE is 18 lpa and almost all CSE students that opt for placement get placed . My plan is to pursue higher education after degree.

The tution fee is increased every year .The fee might sound a little too much at the start , but there are endless opportunities for financial assistance. Financially backward families can even get 100% tution fee waiver .There are scholarships for almost everyone and if you truly deserve a scholarship, you will get it . I am not aware about the campus employment opportunities if there are any ,

The campus life is the thing I love most about my college . There are fests going on throughout the year and the biggest fest is the ENGIFEST which has footfall for more than 3 lakh people and artist from all over india come to perform like Shreya Ghoshal, Siddhu Moosewala and etcetera. The library is also excellent and books are easily available as there are many copies of the same book . Sports activities are also taken care of as there is a great indoor gaming area and also outdoor pitches and lawn tennis courts . There is no shortage of student run groups or societies and there is a society for almost every thing .

The course requires students to give the JEE MAINS exam . The application form for that exam are easily available as all the application is done online. The application fee for the course is minimal and is automatically subtracted from your fees if you take admission. There are reservation benefits for OBC , SC , ST and PWD . The admission process will definitely benefit if the admissions are more organised and given more time , as during the time of admission so many families come on each day that it takes the whole day for the process .

Their are so many professors for each subject that our doubts never go unsolved . All the faculty are very knowledgeable and good teachers . Apart from regular classes , the faculty never shy away if students ask for extra class and always take care of their students studies . Also their assignments are very good and improve the learning experience.
