A decent college

Our college is very good and management is also very good but the main problem in her college is the placements.

Because the other college in which I got selected called me after I confirmed my admission to this college. As my neighbor was also studying in this college so I had no intention to leave this college after the confirmation of admission in another college.

My course curriculum is great. They have every detail known to give to the student for their preparation and appropriate things are taught here. We also have a morning physical training in which our body is made strong to withstand tough situations.

Our college does not provide internship but rather than internships we get placements in which the minimum stipend according to the IMO regulations is 150 dollars.

The placements and job opportunities in our college are very less as compared to other Maritime colleges this is due to the fact that is placement cell are not giving the best to provide placements to the students. Very fewer students get a place in a single batch.

Our college celebrates almost every festival we have a College fest named person are in which all the students gather together and enjoy the cultural events and dance performances. The independence day and republic day are celebrated very well in our college as it is the owner of our Indian flag and we respect our flag showing dignity towards our country.

The fee structure is expensive. Our total curriculum fees are around 15 lacs for 4 years which will provide us accommodation in the hostel, food in mess and the tuition fees and all the basic amenities which we required for a basic living. People can apply for a loan also.

Loan facility is also offered by the college through specific banks which they prefer to be used at the time of admission and scholarships are also there at the time of admission in a college which is appreciated by the student to be used.

her campus life is very good we have the world's largest dome on our campus and a swimming pool we have all the basic sports inner campus. There is also a river passing by the campus in which we can go and have growing practice. Our campus is very beautiful and is made on the culturally based buildings.

The hostel is very good having all the basic facilities and proper discipline is also maintained in our hostel. we get hot water every morning for a bath and all the lodging facilities are also provided to us. The mess food is also good and provides us with nutritious food every day 4 times a day.

The reputation of a college regarding the placements is degraded by alumni only. some of our seniors were very good and they are appreciated by their work in many companies but some are there which degrades the name of a college.

Exam structure is very nice we have midterms in every semester in which is of 30 marks and continuous assessment of 10 marks which depends on the teacher of underclass assignments and the final semester exam is of 60 marks which happen at the end of every semester and the quality of examination conduction is very nice.

First I had an entrance exam and then I was called to the college for the admission process when I got shortlisted. Then they sent me for a medical exam which I cleared, then I went through an interview. After the interview and merit list was prepared by the admission cell in which my name was there.

The faculty in our college is really very good and we have top qualified teachers which teach very well and helps us in every way. They have the right knowledge to teach to the students and they are very caring towards teaching and giving the right knowledge to the student.
