The course curriculum are very much well structured. As I am in Instrumentation and control engineering my core subjects are process dynamics and control and control system, transducers. The course structure is well maintained like first they studied transducers then their advanced version industrial measurements. Then next semester they study control then modern control.

Our college provides many internships opportunities to the students. Many companies visited in our college for the internships and some gives ppo also along with the internships. Companies visited for internship are Microsoft ( 125000 stipend), reliance( 30000 stipend), Citi( 70000), and many other companies like optum, tridents , technip also give internships to our college students. There is also one minor project during third year and one major major project during final year to submit to the respective departments. These projects are credit based projects.

The placement of my college is very good. The average package for all the branches is the 10 Lpa. And the minimum package is 5 Lpa and maximum package is 60 Lpa. Most of the big companies visit our campus for placements. And also give internships. If you have no get placement and if you want to go for further studies, then you can go for MBA in IIM Amritsar and PhD in IIT Roorkee directly.

The fees structure of our college is about 87000 per semester for tuition fees and 25500 for the hostel and some 15000 for security deposit. There is also fee waiver for different catories - for sc/ st categories there is 0 fees. For general and OBC category fee waiver if based on family income. Also in our college there is scholarship depend on the cgpa obtained in the semester. And also there is a laptop policy on no interest for students.

I have very good experience in my campus. My hostel has fully wifi and also have sports facilities in the hostels like table tennis, carrom board, chess. The total two big fest held in our college yearly one is the techniti and other is the utkansh. Tech niti is our technical fest and utkansh is cultural fest . The all clubs of our college organize many events in these fest. There are many clubs in my college like dance club, singing club , robotics club etc.

Hostel facility is good. The rooms are well maintained and fully furnished. The furniture in the hostels rooms are very good. If you have any problem occur in the room facility like light defects then you can complaint and the issue is fixed in the next few hours. The fees for our hostel combine with the mess facility is approx 40000. The mess food of our college is very good quality. And the variability in the food occurs time by time.

The admission process of our college is through jee mains. First you give the jee mains exams then register in the jossa councelling. According to your rank int the jee mains you get admission in the nit jalandhar. The cut-off for getting admission for computer science is ranked under 4000. After the Jossa counselling in the college document submission process is very smooth.

The faculty are very much experienced. Their study techniques are very good and effective in which they include presentations, unique method of quizes, small small projects on specific topic. They also give knowledge about the industrial application of the topics this will give help us in the placements. Some faculties also gave extra free for placements pr exams respective like for gate and PSUs. They also give practical knowledge about the topics. The faculty of our college are very much interactive with students. They are very much friendly with students.
