Worst College please don't take admission in such college please I'm giving my honest review

As very old college and named among reputed College with their placement I have heard a lot about this institution from my colleague and I saw infrastructure of this college I found good in all the ways I saw so I thought as this college is since 1995 this would be very good college

Course Curriculum Overview

I love Sharing honest views if anyone asks you to give free admission in this college than also don't take worst system ever I saw is in this college we are studying course 10 years old our university is so old and corrupted that anyone could pass this test studying a night before the exam

Internships Opportunities

No it does not provide any kind of internship my college is poor economically and so there is nothing like internships in my college

Placement Experience

Worst no companies are coming only one TCS was coming every year and that too stopped this year so there are very very fewer companies coming in campus but college says lies that there is a lot of placement being an oriental student I know the truth there are no companies

College Events

There is only one teachacme event that happens every year in which college don't have money they ask students to bring sponsor from outside and college don't have enough fund in doing this big event college is very poor that they ask for Money from us to do an event

Fee Structure And Facilities

Can't say expensive 80000 and 12000transport as every college have it have same fees structure but it as for fine everytime if you drink water during class from water cooler they ask for fine as u are not in class so it's worst College ever is sawed place stay away

No, no facility college is poor how could they give us such facilities so I there is no facility like this

Campus Life

No such activities in the campus in fact boys are not allowed to wear shorts in campus now u can imagine this college and campus life and activities in such college which only wants money nothing else so please don't even comes to take a visit of this college

Hostel Facilities

Worst I have lived in the hostel one year if you want to leave they ask you to bring a form from library 2 rs they ask for 4 signature hod, warden, TG, dean after this they give us to leave for holiday and food quality is soo worst that I left hostel in 2 months with a huge loss

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, seniors are helpful alumni network is worst but our seniors are so helpful in every possible way

Exam Structure

Mid sem there are 2 mid seems every semester which we pass by writing from mobile and there is internal assessment whose copy is not checked and we pass by cheating in a class teacher is not there during the exam and so all start cheating management don't pay attention in exam structure

Admission

I took admission through management quota for that also I applied through mp online and from there first merit list was announced and after that, due to fewer marks in JEE I didn't get but there is management quota reserved for all branches 5 seats are reserved so I took through that quota

Worst worst worst they are lazy they don't have the good knowledge they just have the bookish knowledge they just want money don't care of syllabus to finish or anything like that they all are corrupted college just collect money from students in return students gets knowledge

Simply outstanding

Placement Experience:

If we're talking about placements so students are eligible for placements from 7th semester. Many of companies came to my college to hier students and companies like yash technologies, wipro , infosys etc. Students get highest package of 12lpa and average package of 3lpa. 90% of students got placed and remaining 10% are those who didn't sit in placement and some of them who want to do higher studies. My plan is to get a good job at a good position in a reputed company

Overall nice infrastructure of my college and also affordable.

The placements cell at our college is very active,and students typically become eligible to participate in campus drives starting from 6th and 7th semester.Every year,several reputed companies such as TCS,Infosys,or local firms visit the campus,making a significant number of offers to our batch.

Placement Experience:

The college placement is quite average upto 14 15 lakh.there are so many companies like Infosys. Etc visited for placement every year. Students became eligible for internship in 5th semester and wil get placement in 4th year.i planned to became successful software engineer.

Placement os this college is quite decent as compare to other iiits .i thinkl from 6th smester students become eligible for placements . name of companies include atlassian , zomato, synosin, etc came. As per the iiitbhopal website 2025 placements ; the highest package is 85lpa and the avg is 15lpa . and 85 percent people is got placed . my plans after getting degree is looking for high paying job as i have invested too much money on this degree.

Placements are based on the training as some students opt out. The companies these days have an assessment test and it's because of that they choose the candidates. That is followed by an interview and our department prepares us for that and those who does well or showcase themselves well get in excess of 10 lakhs easily.

After the vivid there we see a lack of placement opportunities in branches . But , Because of college reputation you will easily get hired in various companies offcampus for high branches . There is lack of opportunities in core branches . Although the avarage package offered is about 4lpa to 6lpa for higher branches and a highest is about 52 lpa (2 years ago) . After getting the degree mostly students go for masters and also in IIT's or NIT'S for higher studies .

Choosing a college is a major decision, and for many students OIST Bhopal, the choice often comes down to abalance between legacy, regional repution, and practical constraints. Students typically compare OIST with other top private colleges in Madhya Pradesh such as LNCT or VIT Bhopal. My rank falls in the 1.5 Lakh to 5 Lakh range, OIST becomes a primary choice. It offers the same RGPV degree as the government colleges but with a more structured trainig program for private placements. The admission process is centralized and follows the guidelines of the Directorate of Technicial Education(DTE), Madhya Pradesh. Qualifying exams: 10+2 with Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics(PCM). OIST Bhopal is an outstanding institute!

Admission are through 12th socre and entrance scores too matters. In 12th for General Category students 60% is mandatory and for OBC a minimum of 50% and for SC/ST students it's 50%. Post which as per the seats the cut-offs are announced and final admission happens....Read More
