Graphic era hill university : A dream or a nightmare

Our college management is too strict.. But same time they also take care of us

I have chosen gehu because my teacher has suggested me to join this... Then I google it... Then I found a lot of things about it. Means placements faculty and college campus. Then I have visited here for counseling...then.. I have decided to join it. Because the college campus is quite good and its location is also.. And as I have my domicile of Uttarakhand then I also get 25% off in fee. Which is also a major reason for my admission.

The course structure is quite good means some subjects are they which are very interesting but at the same time some subjects are also there which is hated by everyone but overall course structure is good and very helpful for our career. And PDP classes are also there for us for creating our personality. And regular labs are arranged for us

As I am b tech 2nd year student..so I did not get an internship but as per my Senior's our college provides internship to us in wipro...and as per my Senior's it was boring. Means they have to work from 9 to 5..in internships

Now talking about one of the most important things that are placements..honestly saying placements in gehu is very very good means more than 90% of students get Placed in Wipro, Infosys, TCS etc.recently a massive record is created here. That is 936 placements offers for students in campus placements within a week only and a student is also placed in adobe this year and last year a student was also placed in Amazon in off-campus placements with an annual package of 12 lpa.

A lot of events are celebrated in gehu and one of the amazing events which are celebrated here is GRAFEST..it is a 3 day long event in which each day different celebrity came here and celeb may be from Bollywood and may be from Hollywood..like last year zillionaire visited here which is a part of band major laser. Now talking about technical fest...there are a lot of events... Like hackathon which is a 24-hour long event in which 80 teams have participated

The fee structure is also good because it is worth... Because the atmosphere which we get is awesome and teaching is also good and placements are awesome...and in GEHU you will also get 25% off if you belong to Uttarakhand and we will learn a lot of new things here so I can say Paying fee is worthy and our college also provides bus service in very low amount that is 1100 per sem

The scholarship is provided on the basis of Either 12th % or if you have domicile of Uttarakhand If you have domicile of Uttarakhand then you will get 25% off and another depends on 10+2 %

The gender ratio is 6:4 6 of boys and 4 of girls College life of gehu is little hard because a lot of rules are there like you do get entry in college if you do not have ID card and you have to be in proper uniform and etc but talking about extracurricular activities a lot of activities are there like recently omnithon was organized it was 24 hour event and NCC and NSS is also there in our college and a lot of other events are organized regularly

Hostel facility is also good.. 6 hostels are there for boys and 3 Hostels are for girls in which 2 Hostels for girls are in campus and hostel rooms are too good, well furnished, attached bathrooms with mirrors and sweepers come daily to clean rooms and now talking about the main thing that is food..food is also good here but just for starting 3 months of a semester after that quality of food decreases

Senior students are too much helpful. They always help us, actually, we do not feel that there are our seniors..they are like our friends Because our campus is purely ragging free

Exam structure is also good enough. Just 2 time in a semester that is mid-term and end-term in which midterm is of 25 marks and end term is of 50 marks and sessional marks are also there which is gave to you by your subject faculty Now talking about labs, our labs are well equipped with good pc's and every day we have a lab of 2 or 3 hours..and Mac lab is also there in our campus

Firstly I have filled an online form, in which I have filled my basic details like name Father's name, Mother's name, % in 10,10+2, course..etc.. Then after submitting the online form, I have paid 1200..then I was eligible for attending counseling. After that, I have attended counseling in which my all documents have verified and at the same time, I have submitted 5000 drafts also... Which makes my seat reserved in gehu. After that, I have paid college fee through fee chalan...

Now talking about the teachings. Gehu purely focus on students means faculties are too much knowledgeable and many are from IIT and nit. And they teach very well but one thing is there which I would like to mention and that is. Some of our faculty are also from the same college means our seniors..who have passer out our college..but they teach better because they focus on practical more rather than the theory
