Good things were girls safety is a priority in a university.

Entrance Preview

Because this college us reputed in Asia continent. i.e I choose this college. This college is run by central govt. And little bit contribution of Delhi Govt. UGC provide a fund for running the college.I thought when I will pass from this college this will be a great achievement for me.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was great my course was B.Com I enjoyed a lot to study in D.U. I will give full positive response over my course curriculum and course content. A lot of things learned from my course and aware of the world economy and taxation matter. Thanks to all who make such a great course.

Internships Opportunities

No, college not provides any internship that is sad to part of our college. I want to one day my college will provide internship for own student.

College Events

College fest held in every year. Rangarang programme inaugurates by college alumni and college management on every occasion. Celebrities come and perform at the event of college. Outstation tour for the student was available for a student at a cheaper cost

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure was moderate no to high no low. Yearly you can pay the fees and enjoy whole year poor student can take benefit in concession if fees showing low-income certificate .exam fees were low in comparison to other college facility was good in such low fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

No. I was not aware of loan facility and scholarship program I didn't take any such benefit. However, I belong to a poor family.

Campus Life

I will literally say campus life was Asom, the gender ratio was almost equal boys and girls however no. Of boys more in comparison to girls. Every time college conducted an extracurricular activity for student outstation tour, sports facility etc. Group discussion on current topics conducted by management.

Hostel Facilities

I will not any comment over the hostel facility because I didn't take benefit of the hostel. But food on campus was good and tasty at a cheaper price .. especially north Indian and Punjabi food was really tasty in campus .. mess facility didn't take avail of benefit because of no need.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, the senior student was very helpful every time they support me for the course and exam pattern. Provide notes etc

Exam Structure

Exam structure was good and nice yearly exam conducted by the college. Total I attempted 16 subjects in three-year B.COM course and secured good enough marks because of the way exam conducted by the university. I passed out n every exam in each and every attempt.

Admission

When I passed in 12 the class I visited there and collect information regarding the admission process in Helpdesk counter of college. They told me to bring out all the necessary document like 12the pass out the certificate, mark sheet, migration certificate if applicable and deposit fees through D.D.

Faculty

The faculty was good each and every professor was brilliant his/her teaching way was nice and cool. The classroom was modern. When I think those days I hope those days will never end I want to go those days again. Full of enjoying, learn, explore new thing with the professor is memorable.

The faculty members are supportive, knowledeable. Teacher explain concepts clearly and encourage student to participate in discussion
I like friendly and comfortable campus environment. student from different background intreact with each other
The college provides a good acedemics foundation and opptunities for overall development. being Part of delhi university also give student exposure to different events

Dislikes

some classroom and campus facilitues need improvement
placement oppotunites can be improved, esecially for student looking for better corporate exposure.
the evening college schedule can something be inconveibient because many acitvity and oppotunities are generally more accessible during regular college hours

I would rate the course curriculum around 4 out of 5. The curriculum is well structured and covers important subject related to commerce, accounting, finance, economics and business. I chose this course because is provides a strong foundationfor higher studies, competetives exam and careers in the cmmerce field

Life at South Campus

Likes

The crowd at venky is great, diverse crowd.
The campus is well maintained and is one of the bests at DU.
Opportunities provided to students are great

Dislikes

The attendance policy is a little strict for 1st and 2nd year

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.

Shyam Lal College( Morning) Review

Likes

College is improving day by day teaching faculty is also helpful it recently got A++ NAAC credition as well
Overall college is good if you have good peer group.
Near to north campus so doesn't really feel much of headache if you want to visit regularly.

Dislikes

Shadara is not a good place to spend your college life.
Evening college crowd has made the reputation of the college bad.
Near by area is not safe for Girls in late hours.

Placement Experience:

6th sem is the first time college placement are proceeded . Companies are not impressive and mostly are entry level jobs such as cold calling and such which they offer. Highest package was 4 lpa and avg was 2.5 only. Around 60 percent students gets placed.

Likes

The online learning platform is easy ans simple to use students can acces lecture and assigments and study materials anytime
Faculty mambers provide clear guidance through online sessions and study materials they are supportive
They procides recording that was very usefull when we will not attend the live class

Dislikes

Since the classes are in online and also there are some techical issues while taking classes that will interupt classes
placement support is limited in online classes so students need to search for internships and job oppertunities on their own
Its deffecult to connect student coordinators while we wnat exam timetable etc they are too slow

I choose BCOM because the want to take ACCA after BCOM it will helps to improve my career and give a better job and also BCOM is the basices of ACCA like law, financial managment, taxation etc .The curriculam provide strong fountation for students who wamts to pursue higher studies such as M.COM , MBA and professuonal couses. BCOM helps to understanding real world bussiness practices , accounting sytem etc . on;ine study material recordimg leture and assigments also make flexible for students to study their own pace. exams are usually conducted semister wise the difficulty level 0of exam are moderate if students were attend the class regulary and prepare well

Faculties are best. They teaches you and create never ending bond with you.
Infrastructure is good but the area is small , the greenery is amazing and flowers are sooo sweetest.

Dislikes

No hygiene in canteen. Avoid eating from canteen.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is highly relevant notably the focus on real world applications and Advanced Financial reporting. It prepared me well for professional life. Improvement is needed in digital tool exposure.

i dont like any thing in this college

there is a green gaurden in my colleges old campus
we have a big ground in our college which i like i can play football there
they make an football ground in old campus which is good

Dislikes

techers are not good in teacing they just want to let it go the classes
my college was too small and the classes are not properly furnished for my class size
there is no place for sit in the shade or to make our mind diverted or have fun and the canteen is worst of old campus

i am from commerce background i want to do eco honers but in 12th i dont have mathematics so i cant then i decideid for b. com honers but i aloted the b.com program which is my 3rd priority umm i leanrd new things in my ncc and with my friends there are very less college activities to i dont know how to make my college life good and make some experiences they can make us travel with them to the real buiseness or any factory or a relay paper work from any company i want to do a camp in jab which is good for my ncc life but it is during my exams thats why i cant did that camp yet

i liked their faculty member and staff , they are played with students and taught as a friend
i liked canteen service and their foods it is hygienic but canteen infrastructure is not good
i liked their ground its have bollyball court basketball court badminton court and cricket ground also and they provide gym in college

Dislikes

i didn't like their campus because its not too much big
and college provide which lift service is not working properly
their bathroom is not too good and not too much hygienic

i choose bcom hons and all teacher are provide their 100% on their courses but neet to improve in practical exam because some computer not working and teacher teach students in one computer but there is no difficult paper according to time some time it's lengthy.
