Course Curriculum Overview

3

You don't get to choose a course you can just apply for the course and selections is done according to your CUET score. If you have scored good in CUET you may get your preferable course and college. But if your didn't it is based on luck. A college degree doesn't prepare for real life experience. The course can only teach you how to apply the knowledge gain in the course Every semester exam is held in 5 and a half month. In every 6 months a semester is completed and after completion of course holiday for 1 months is given to students. Difficulty level varies between easy and moderate.

Placement Experience

2

You get to sit in placements in last semester of the course and in most of du colleges it is mandatory to have 7+ cgpa to sit in placement Companies like Deloitte usi, kpmg India, Ernst and young India, PMC India and other 50 companies recruiter have visited our college in 2022 they almost made 280+ offers in the campus. The highest salary in 2022 was 22lpa and average was around 5lpa. Almost 30-40% students were placed from each course during the campus placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know about any increment or hike in fee but I'm 2022 the fee for my course was around 11k but previous year it got extended to 15k. For any course in du you don't have to pay much but accomodation cost may be high according to your locality. You don't have to pay for anything during the year once you paid the tution fee except you have to pay for exam according to your selected paper. My college provides fee concession to students and st/sc category students avail schoolarship from the college College provides placement with some criteria like 7+ cgpa and compulsory attendance etc. but I didn't avail any such campus placement because I'm in my 1st year or college

Campus Life

2.5

Every year college held an annual fest for celebrating the vast culture and background of students studying in du it is held between the month of mar-apr. Since the new principle came in our college most of the fest didn't held. We have a separate liabrary for both morning and evening and you can access and avail any book from liabrary for 14 days. After 14 days you will be charged 1rs per day untill you return the particular book. We didn't had an auditorium but now it is in progress and many of the sports court are also being build for students. There are many societies in the college In which a newcomer can get into easily by giving audition and students run various meme pages and insta pages to locate problem of the colleges.

Admission

To enroll yourself in any college of du you must give a entrance exam called CUET it is also applicable in state universities. First you have to clear the entrance exam and after that you have to fill an application form in du page that applies to all of the colleges in du, you can simple find the application form in official web page of Delhi University. For b.com one must have passed 12th class with either accounts + business studies + economics or math and every thing the same. In Delhi University you have to make a preference list according to your preferable college and course. A correct and accurate preference list is very important to get admission

Faculty

2.5

Programs like b.com, b.com hons, social science has a great no of faculty. In our college there are approximately 690 students enrolled for bcom divided into 7 sections so each section have their own professors. Not every professor teach us the same way some use projectors to teach and some the traditional way i.e. with books. To be honest professor just complete their given subjects and provide pyqs and their duty is done. For regular college works like assignment, projects you don't need to interact with you teacher but if one is facing shortage of attendance they can approach their teacher and teachers also helps to deal with such problems.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.
