Location of the college is in a village area , providing a peaceful atmosphere
Availability to a large amount of resources for learning
The teaching and non teaching staff is well qualified

Dislikes

No private bus from palai direct to college suitable with class time
Lack of provision of financial support from management for conducting programs on campus , this may change in future

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is not very well apt for the fast paced growth of technology. Although, the teachers try to give in their on input about the newest of technology along with the curriculum so that the students doesn't miss out largely

Placement Experience

There were a large amount of placement options. From companies all around india. Most of them offer a package of 2 lakhs per annum. Some of them even for 5 lakhs per annum. Jobs at core field offered doesn't pay much initially. But after joining and getting necessary experience you can get a nice package. 60% of students gets palced. Some of them consider higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

On an average a student would require almost 4 lakhs for completing the course. But there are a lot of scholarships avaliable making it very easy and financially feasible to study here. There are many part time jobs like catering that students can take on for additional pocket money. There are scholarships given by the government and also by the college for having a good amount of mark in 12th and other competitive entrance exam scores.

Campus Life

Overall campus life is somewhat okay. The management doesn't provide so much financial aid for any programs. But you can go for sponsorships for technical fests and all. The library provides access for a huge amount of information. There are many clubs and volunteership like NSS. NCC is also here at the college.

Admission

The admission process is rather simple and easy. The office staff helps with all of the process. The seats tend to be fill fast so need to come in and apply at the earliest. Admissions are given on the basis of entrance exams as well as magament and NRI quaotas

Faculty

The teaching and non teaching staff of the college are well qualified. Most of them have completed their PhDs. The faculties are friendly and very interactive. The lab assistantants are very helpful at all times.

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Placement Experience:

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

My honest review of ICET

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for attending campus placement from semester 7. Some companies that visits ICET are Utc global, Layland, DeltaX, etc. The average package given by the companies are 3 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed are around 40%. I plan to placed at any company.

My options were SJCET and AJCE. Now both are autonomous, when i was there to join a student commit suicide and my friend was already a student who pursuing ece and said dont ever come to the hell.
