All the technical and non technical events
Campus infrastructure is good and clean...
Good amount of trees are planted all over the campus

Dislikes

It is far from the central bangalore to travel
Very strict about college classes timing ..
Attendance criteria is also a bit too strict, but other engineering college follow the same so its not really a problem

Course Curriculum Overview

I was interested in computer science and since i wrote kcet exam and got information science course as my branch in this college, I'm happy with it. The curriculum is well crafted and suits to all real world applications. The curriculum needs to be a bit updated. The exams are conducted with enough gap of time period to prepare for them

I got admitted to this college through kcet so my fees is 98k. There are students with management seat who pay a bit more than kcet students, but they are provided with scholarships if they maintain their cgpa

Campus Life

There are several club events, technical and non technical fests that happen like swayam, vertechx , project expo. This way many good opportunities are provided where we gain exposure and learn a lot. All classes are good, playground and other sports facilities are provided. Student clubs engage in many events and help everyone learn a lot

Admission

My branch rank cutoff was 25325, my rank was the same and the cutoff stopped at my rank. Admission process of paying fees was done online whereas college admission registration was done in one day. Proper instructions were given and smooth process of registration was followed.

Faculty

Faculties are in good number for each and every department, there is no issue of absence of a teacher for particular subject Faculties are well qualified with their education and are fit for the profession by holding masters and phd degrees Faculties are approachable and friendly.

My plan is to work for 2 years and continue with higher studies and focus in research based area which increases the job security and salary

The Reality of Studying Here

Placement Experience:

from 6th Sem u are eligible to sit for the placement. A lot of companies come to the college i don't focus on company name my focus will be on the CTC and average is 4-5LPA and the highest package was 20LPA. but very less student get placed because they don't have proper technical skill and the one who have skills they are placed in our college. before getting a Degree i need a job from Campus Placement this is my plan after getting Degree let's see I haven't made any plans right now.

The highest on campus package this year was around 64 LPA, while as far as I know, the top 20% of the students usually get offers in the 16-24LPA range. MVJ college of engineering has a good Placement record, for branches like CS and ECE The Placement activities are handled by Placement Cell, which begins preparing students from 6th semister through aptitude session, communication skills etc They maintain good score like 60% and above academic percentage the students are eligible for placement drive from 6th semister onwards At my time at college some 10 companies visited the campus Highest package from my batch is 5L per Annum Most placement are in roles like developer and Networking side for core branches they get opportunities in design, testing and maintenance roles Overall MVJ provides good placement opportunities

A Bangalore blend of academics , placements and campus life

Placement Experience:

KSIT has an average placement rate of 70%-85% depending on the branch . CSE,ISE and ECE branches have higher placements while mechanical and civil have fewer opportunities in IT sector . Average package is about 4-6LPA . KSIT attracts many IT based recruitiers with some core companies for non -IT branches . A Journey Worth Remembering

When I was selecting an engineering college I applied to several reputed institutions in Karnataka including Dayananda Sagar College of engineering Acharya institute of technology CMR institute of technology but I couldn't make it due to slightly higher cutoff in CET. I finally choose MVJ college of engineering because of its location infrastructure academic environment and placement opportunities. Situated in Whitefield it's close to several IT companies which is better and increases internship and placement prospects. The campus is spacious clean and well equipped with modern labs and facilities the college also has good reputation under VTU for maintaining academic decipline and quality teaching.
