Great university for placements and a beautiful campus

It's a very dynamic magagement. esp the VC is so gentle and warm. they want us to succeed and help us to get that is every way.

Course curriculum for engineering is quite comprehensive. It is always revised according to the changing trends and requirements of the industry. The research quality of Shoolini is quite high. They have an H index of 31 and the faculty and entire university is working to ensure that they excel in research. The exams are fair but you have to be regular for your classes. They take attendance issues very seriously.

Placements for our department were quite good. I got placed at a package of Rs. 3 lakhs. It was quite something, coming from HImachal.

Moksha is the hottest festival of Shoolini University. Everyone participates and they get excellent regional artists. Flower Festival is held in March, which is also highly popular. It is a great time to be at shoolini because the campus is pretty and delightful.

Per semester the fee was about rs. 55 000 but i think now it has been revised. we had to pay the same amount in the first year. other expenses are not high in this campus but the hostel fee is something that has to be considered for students who come from outside solan.

I availed the university's merit-cum-means scholarship of 20% on tuition fees which was decided by University Scholarship Committee after they interviewed me. As per my knowledge it is not a fixed scholarship which everyone can avail. However, based on merit and discretion of the committee, students of UG and PG program can get up to 100% scholarship on tuition fee.

Shoolini is a fantastic place to study whether you are a boy or a girl. In fact, the girls here are excelling in every field. The boys are also fun and studious. Everyone gets an opportunity to show their different skills, apart from their curriculum. Many sports events and competitions are held at the campus regularly and one must make use of them. There are so many clubs and societies one can be a part of. I enjoyed the special talks by experts, which gives the students an opportunity to experience a fulfilling campus life.

Shoolini University has a great alumni network and we meet pretty often. The alumni association organizes a reunion at different cities. Its a great way for former students to stay connected and also help each other to find jobs and look for better opportunities.

I was a student of B.Tech at Shoolini University. Since it is a popular university of Himachal Pradesh, I was sure I wanted admission here. The admission process was fairly simple. I applied online with the application form and heard from them. I was invited to the campus and based on meeting the eligibility, I was asked to sit for counselling. April is a good time to apply to this college.

The faculty is really helpful and diverse. We had professors from all over India as well as with exposure to international campuses. I recently heard that they have a new dean with several decades of experience and that should take up the quality of education at Shoolini.
