First of all the college has a very good name outside in the society. My campus life is pretty good it all depends on the friends you make. Studies wise 1st semesters can be a little hectic since its a university and things are done pretty different
Clubs and activities and each day there would be one or the other program going on somewhere in the campus. This is the best thing about christ it gives a lot of opportunities for our personal growth.

Dislikes

Sometimes teachers give a lot of work at the same time and its really worse. Schedules can be tight for some courses. Its very hard to find the material to study for exam and you have do really search a lot everywhere for the study material

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is very advanced and is very much related to the industrial requirements of these days. They also teach some extra cources too for overall development. We have 2 exams in one semester and frequent tests which count for end semester results.

Many good companies come to my college for placement and our college prepares us for it. A famous company that Hires from Christ University is Deloitte and many from the Bcom course have got good positions in the company with a pretty high package.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Compared to all the other college fees in christ BCom is very much less or say accurate and it provides so many opportunities for our self-improvement. There is a scholarship exclusive for Karnataka people and other scholarship is also provided but might be hard to get them.

Campus Life

As I said, there are many opportunities like very many clubs in the college that anyone can take place. And they can even create a new club and become the head of the club. There are many clubs where we can become a head and subhead and at the end of the year we are very much awarded in the main auditorium with many prizes and cash prizes. There are even many competitions where we can take part and the cash prizes can be as high as 1 lakh.

Admission

The admission process was very hectic. I gave my online text and missed my first interview but after checking the admission page continously there was 2nd chance to give the interview and it was online and i did pretty well. Then for the admission in college for me it started around 11 in the morning with document verification, talk with one of the father, an orientation on campus, photo for ID card and then opening for bank account and ended around 5 in the evening. And fee was already paid.

The teachers in the university are very very much qualified. We have an hour dedicated for mentoring where our class teacher does group and individual mentoring and its pretty good. As i said some teachers are really great at teaching and if not understood they clear our doubts very well.

Placement Experience:

The only good thing happened to me in this college is placement. They have a placement team for the whole of Dayanand Sagar institutions which includes many departments so the placement team is really good. Many big as well as small companies come for campus recruitment and they have a telegram group which keep posting on new jobs every now and then.

From 5th semester the students get eligible for placements. During academic year 2022-23 there were 65 students successfully availed the opportunities, There were 111 companies participate in campus. 61.90% of placements. Highest CTC is 4.64. My plans is to pursue my higher education

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for campus placements from the 5 th semster onwards,Christ university is known for their best placements.Many big companies like Deloitte, Deshaw, KPMG, EY, and Goldman Sachs often come to college for placemts.Even some companies provide interships with a stipend of 60000 a month and in most of the cases those inters will get PPO ( pre-placement offer).The highest package is 24 lpa and an average package is 500000 lpa.When the number of students applied for placements is taken we could say that a 90% of them are got placemts from the university. My Plan after getting degree is pursue my higher education

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester campus selection is offered to the students as we can join and attend interviews. TCS, hcl are the companies visited and didn't select for the job. The placement of the job is a minimum of 30 to 50%. I'm thinking of joining any job I get.

Remarks:

I really like my college because the college is very well developed. The infrastructure of the college is also very good and can accommodate many students at one single time. The college also have playgrounds for the sports activities and spacious conference halls with LCD facilities.

Remarks:

Overall the college provides an amazing experience with ups and downs in your life. This place is a learning experience for everyone. At times the college faculty gets too strict and you have to provide a apology letter everytime a mistake is made no matter how silly it is.

The factors that drove me to take an admission in Christ were its high rating, student friendly campus and teachers, exposure to diversity since students from varoius parts of the world study here, library facilities, Skilled faculties etc The best thing I liked about my college was the various co curricular programs conducted.It was a great platform to exhibit my existing talents and also I discovered new talents in me.
