Likes

Environment friendly beautiful campus,good infrastructure.
Qualified faculties and laboratories and research centres are well equipped.
The most important is there is a placement cell that provide placements to top companies

Dislikes

Class rooms are not that well facilitated
Eventhough it's a green campus but it's not neat that much
Washroom rooms facilities are poor and neat

Course Curriculum Overview

There is a problem regarding the exam ,as Union Christian College is an aided college affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University,Kottayam the exams are conducted as per university guidelines .Most of the time exams are rescheduled.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 2268 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

As it is an aided college fees are considerably low like an average of 2500 rupees per year and examination fees are not included in this.For self financing coures have to pay fees per semester and it will be higher than other aided courses but not that high when comparing with other autonomous colleges. There are many scholarship as I can't mention it all here .

Campus Life

There are almost 35 clubs .And NSS and NCC.UC college is well known for their sports activities.And technologically developed laborataries and research labs. Library of UC college consist of a vide range collections of books.

Admission

There is no entrance exam in UCC.Admisssion process are through mgu cap.Management and community, cultural seats are through college site . Eligibility:one should have passed thier 12th .Other eligibility criteria depends on the course you choose.One thing to say Union Christian College is the college which recieve maximum application in mg University.Its very hard to get into UCC.

Faculty

All the facilities are well qualified and all of them are selected on the basis of their qualification and skills .There is no donation in union Christian College for faculty to get their job.Most of them are PhD holders and good experience.

Why you should/shouldn't join LISSAH

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

Highest and Average Packages by Company and Profiles Offered are, for undergraduate (UG) students: ?3,00,000 per annum.For postgraduate (PG) students: ?3,45,000 per annum. Roles Offered:Positions include researcher, technical writer, and analyst. Percentage of Students Getting Placements:For UG students, approximately 4.26% were placed, with 16 out of 376 students securing jobs.For PG students, about 16.42% were placed, with 22 out of 134 students securing positions. My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. Peekay college, The heaven of studies and programs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course to help others.social service was the main motive. I'm now persuing post graduation because i got best classes from best teachers. Real world applications are that i can be a good psychologist. The exams are gaped 6 months. Difficulty depends on the teachers who prepare the exam papers. But mainly it is syllabus based.

I take admission in the year 2022 through mgu cap. Our college is aided so, comparatively less fees than other self financing colleges. Our college that distinguished itself it's cosmopolitan ans secular ethos, Christian and humanistic values, residential life and interdenominational management etc...the admission is done through the mahathama Gandhi university site named mgu cap.
