Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum at Amity is more of research based. They have dissertations for students at the end of of their academic year, and also provide mentors for the same. The syllabus is also not very vast and covers the most necessary topics.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees structure depends on which course you're doing. For the first sem we paid 62 thousand out of which 10 thousand was the deposit. There are scholarships given on the basis of marks. You have certain grades in your 12th, if you're taking admission in bachelor's and a certain CGPA if you're taking an admission in master's

Campus Life :

The campus life is quite good, if yore a person who loves the stage, amity is the place for you. There is alot of fests and events happening in the college all the time. Which makes life in amity great.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facility is good, it a double sharing room in one dorm with 3 rooms, and common washroom and bathroom for each dorm, the hostel services include laundry and cleaning of the rooms for 6 days a week. If you're someone who wouldnt be comfortable in the hostel, there are alot of rental places around amity.

Admission :

The admission process is quite smooth, after the interview round you will be notified if you're selected or not, and if you've been selected a representative will be alloted to you who will guide you throughout the process.

Faculty :

The faculty members are quite qualified most of them have pH.D or are pursuing one under the university. Most of them are students of amity university itself so they have a better understanding of the functioning. They also have visting faculty who are also well qualified. Most of them have their own practises too.

Interview Experience :

Yes, I was interviewed, via zoom for admission, the interview was quite easy, basic questions about psychology were asked, and questions like why do I want to get into this field and similar questions were asked too.

Placement Experience:

From third semester students are eligible for getting placements. Companies like Cairn India, SLB, Exonn, Halliburton etc come every year for placements. Highest package is around 24 lakhs and average is 13 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placed is very less. After getting degree anyone can give competitive exams like gate for PSUs and GSI and if anybody is interested they can go for phds.

Placement Experience:

The placements are actually very nice since if you study well, all of the students can be eligible for placements and there are various companies which visit on campus for hiring so there is always a chance of 100% placements here. The highest package goes upto 14 LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Having a keen interest in mathematics I opted to persue my masters in it. The reason behind it was the vast demand of mathematics in todays growing world. Curriculum consists of computer knowledge which is been required today by many giant companies. The syllabus is moderate and difficulty level is high. After every 3 month in each sem, we have mid term exam and just a month later we are having End term exam. We are given sufficient time for preparations as well , so that students does not face any burden while studying.

Placement Experience:

By the end of sem3 itself, the postgraduates are deployed into interviews for certain internships. But if you are with good academic scores and knowledge you can even get directly placed. Every individual is given 3 chances by the college to get and crack the interview but if the student is not able to then he is guided to where to apply but mostly ICRI makes sure everyone is placed as the college proudly stays with its 100% placement tag line. As I told here there are varied background people here with different needs of roles, the highest package I have seen getting is 15L pa to the lowest of 3L pa which even depends upon the company to your broad spectrum of knowledge. To specify which companies come here for recruitment are sun pharma, Cipla, and many more there are all 20+ companies that come and hire the intellectuals. To specify about me I am planning to get a CRC post as a start for CRA in the future.
