When i decided to apply for Amity university i had few criterias on my wishlist for college selected from the very beginning.I checked and verified their teaching faculty. The professors associated with the university and their past experience and field if that suited me for my desired course. i checked for the infrastructure and after course placement assistance from the university for future endeveanours.I also had in mind campus safety and enviroment security before considering admission.Amity fullfilled all the criteria for me

Faculty

5

The faculty and student ratio was 1:30. All the faculty members are very helpful and well trained with 10+ years teaching experience. One of my favourite mentor was Dr.Pratiksha Shinde who would be taking Neuropsychology lectures.I can say i have developed immense interest on biopsychology for my mentors way of teaching and clearing the topics to me.For 6 semesters we had total of 18 topics with credit points to cover.I had difficulty with statistical methods and research analysis but my teacher Dr.Amrita Soni helped me through it with proper guidance.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because of the teachers who teach that. I had my siblings telling me that they love the way their teachers taught them. They make it so easy to understand and give you so much advice to grow and have great success. Also, this college is just a treasure of other curriculum activities. Once you got to know that they held those kinda functions over these years you can't resist and will participate in those functions. As it the course was difficult but teachers will make it easy they will guide you in any problem that you have and encourage you to learn more skills so you can be more successful.
