Entrance Preview

ENAT.Being one of the oldest colleges in India it was all about making a decision as all the branches are as good as any other. But being a guy who was always curious to know about the engines and other mechanical stuff, it was always going to be mechanical engineering.

Placement Experience

The placement cell at MIT gives its best to bring in as many companies as possible. Number of companies visiting the campus varies from 60 to 90.

Fees and Financial Aid

Many loan facilities and scholarship opportunities are available. With companies sponsoring courses to AICTE sponsored courses.

Campus Life

One word - extraordinary.Unlike any other engineering college the sex ratio at manipal is very healthy. Almost 40-60 ratio. With almost 20-25 social clubs you are going to have a tuff time deciding which one to go for. As I mentioned earlier you will meet people from all walks of life. Everybody is given an equal opportunity at Manipal.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate 3/5 because we want more systems to do our work as well as labs too,the main thing is we dont have that faculty compare to other department their are only 4 faculty,so they can't even able to take extra class for us ,so this is the main problem in our deparment

Good for you if you want a degree and want self learn

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are no such specific of the curriculum that influenceed me to take these course instead i was interested or kneen to this course., since my childhood I wanted do this course. It's good in terms of virtual world but not for real world. Everywhere there's a need of improvement no practical knowledge is present here no one talks about new ideas not even they think about even some of them came because it costed them low. No such specific difficulty.

The students from the last year that is seventh semester are allowed to attend the placement given on campus. There are not so many campus placement available. Many companies such as tcs, wipro and other companies basically giving less salary compared to other colleges. There are many few students who got placed in the companies through campus placement hence it cannot be trusted completely. My plans after getting a degree is to get a job or even higher studies of possible. The average students getting placed are very low.

Life at MIT Manipal
