Narasinha Dutt College: A detailed Review

The course consists of both theoretical and practical knowledge.It educates us about all the aspects of physics and it's very helpful in understanding real world applications from the practical classes.Also there are many python courses and assignments included which gives us a feel of programming that is very appreciated and overall all of these things influenced me to take part in this course from this college.

One very good thing about this college is it's low tution fees which remains consistent throughout the years.I was able to complete my education in about 60-70k rupees which is nothing compared to the cost of modern education.Goverment assisted Vivekanda Scholarship is there as well.

There are many areas where this college can improve and the campus and infrastructure is one of them.The infrastructure is good but not at all in every department since there are air conditioned rooms available in computer science department but not in our physics one.The annual fests are also conducted rarely.

I didn't have to take any exams and the form was very easily available in the college website.As far as I know reservation benifits are there and the Calcutta University exams are moderate in difficulty and are scheduled regularly.

The faculty to student ratio is almost 1:3 so there was never any issue of students overwhelming the teachers.All of the teachers were also very qualified and each one of them had their own unique way of explaining things.
