Life at RAIT

The curriculum for btech in computer is the same as you will get in any other college. The same syllabus that is being followed for the past decades. RAIT does offers a major and minor degree in any field of your choice like data science, cyber security, block chain etc. Examination includes IA1, mid semester, IA2 and the end sems. Average of IA1 and IA2 is considered. Along with that you have practicals, vivas, mini projects.

Students are eligible for campus placement From 7 th semester. Many good companies and mass recruiters visit the campus for placement drive. Some of the companies visiting are JP Morgan, cisco, media.net, tcs, accentuate, delloite, Infosys, jio, hcl and many more. The highest package was around 43 lakhs per annum offered by Amazon, google offered a package of 26 lakhs per annum, idfc offered 15LPA and many more dream packages. The average package is around 5-6 LPA where most of the students get placed

Fees during my time was 3.25 lakhs per annum. Now it has increased to around 4 lakhs per annum. As it is a private university there is no fees discount for reserved category. Also there are no reservation. There is no financial aid availability according to my knowledge.

The annual fest of RAIT is HORIZON which is very famous in Navi mumbai. Many celebrities like Hardy Sandhu, DJ chetas, Shirley setia, Darshan Raval and many more come to the events. It is an absolute madness of 3 days. It is held in the month of January and many events are held during this time. The Techfest of RAIT is also good. Various committees participate in it with many tech and fun events . Sports competition are held very often.

Eligibility for admission is just to pass your 12th standard and give mhtcet or jee. There is no cutoff, you will get admission on any percentile. There are no reservations as it is a private university. Exams are held monthly and are pretty easy to pass except for some subjects

I am not sure about faculty to students ratio. But the college does not have a specific intake of student's. You can get admission irrespective of your 12th ans CET marks . Most of the professors have a post graduation degree while some also have PhD . Teachers are very friendly and you can interact with them and clarify your doubt any time.
