Course Curriculum Overview

4

I always aim to become an Upsc aspirant that's I choose this course . It helps me in knowing the depth of he course It tells me the process of writing answers effectively. In societies the things should change every person should get chance to participate in every society that will help the student to gain confidence . Exams are quite easy according to my point of view so no need to change anything about that.

Fees and Financial Aid

My Complete education fee is 14000 per year And there is also a exam fee which is 3000 per semester. Scholarships are only for obs.sc.st and other there is no scholarship for general student thats a partiality among student . I have volunteered in college fests and also participated in campaign of college election.

Campus Life

3.5

Our college hold a fest in april and may month in which every society have their own fest on each day Mostly books are available in the library it's just that you have to search for that Facilities is not that much good but it's like ok ok There is sports month in our so a lot of sports held and participated very actively. If u run any student portal or any social group that will take your but u have to mange it If mange things properly then there will no impact on your student life

Admission

Eligibility is that you have to pass 12th with minimum 80 percentage and for coming to this college you to pass the entrance test. Application form is available on du site Application fees is 500, application date is in march Reservations are for defence brat, ews, sports quota and many more Exam's level are quite difficult because there are lot of student from all over the india who participated in this entrance . Admission process should be fast they do this in a very same manner.

Faculty

4

Faculty is not so good because the teachers are quite less to teach the course . Teachers are cooperative but they have lot of burden that's didn't give time to them to contact a single student. I always interact with my teachers whenever I face issue or if I didn't understand anything.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are mainly for commerce stream departments but the humanities stream also are offered internship from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and Home ministry. There are many private companies that come to offer placements. The students from 3rd year in particular apply for internships. The highest package iffered is 500000 and the average is 250000. About 45% students get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.

I wanted to do PhD in Political Science but due to percentage I took up BA program. Teachers used to provide notes but mostly I used to be off. There was nothing wrong with the college. Exam timings were good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As a future law student philosophy was one of the options which was good to opt. Secondly, comparatively less people opt it and it can be one of the better choices if you are preparing for upsc and taking it as an optional. Teaching can be made more interactive as the topics are really interesting

Remarks:

Positive : the faculties are good and I could say our college is the meeting place of various cultures ranging from Kerala to jammukashmir Negative: the infrastructure is poor. Labs and libraries are not so good. And there are stray dogs who often steps into classes and make us afraid. College is not fully air conditioned but is on processing.
