Likes

The faculty is quiet good and helpful in this college.
The teachers are good experienced and good at teaching.
There are many sports available to play it's a good experience.

Dislikes

The infrastructure is very bad the building is also quite old.
The campus is not so clean. Even the washrooms are always dirty and smells bad.
There is no placement opportunities neither internship given by the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

As a commerce student I have already studied economics in school and as I was already interested in this course I wanted to continue in this line so I choose economics as my major subject. There should be improvement in the teaching method as it's economics so students should be taught more of today's fact going in the economy rather that the past history that's what I think my teachers does. The difficulty level is quiet moderate during exams.

Class Size: 32Course Fees: INR 7000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

This course overall costed me 21000 for 3 year . According to the fees I think it's quiet reasonable to study in university of Delhi as it has a great name. But there are no placement opportunities given neither internship opportunities which is a drawback for students.

Campus Life

The campus life is not that good. The campus is so bad that students don't even attend classes. Even the teachers don't take proper classes. There isn't many societies in here neither much opportunities to participate in competitions and any other programs. Overall the campus life is quiet boring. There are no places near college where u can hangout with your friends after college as it's off campus. Even the metro station is too far. There aren't any fest organized by my college.

Admission

I took admission in 2022. At that time the admission was on the basis of your 12th score. For the college I opted for I got admission on 84% as my college was off campus the cut off was low there. But in North and South campus the cut off is as high as 95% and more.

Faculty

The faculty is quiet good. They are easy to approach and they are very helpful. Their nature is quiet good so they are easy to interact with and always comes with a solution to your problems. The teachers are very helping not just with studies but with all your problems. U can rely on them.

Truth About Hidden IPCW (DU)

Placement Experience:

Since i am 2nd year myself, hearing from seniors, seeing placement cell activities and reading reports, placement at ipcw are decent but far from perfect. The placement drive is not as huge or reliable as some commerce Acc. to the nirf report, for ug courses out of 1204 eligible students 118 got placed, which is roughly 9-10, for pg course, out of 100 eligible students only 6 got placed. Median package for UG was 6.20 lakhs per annum, and for pg is 6.7 lakhs per annum. In earlier years (2022-23) , median UG package was higher. The highest package went to 23 lakhs per annum which was quite impressive. It was from DE Show and co., Wipro, Capgeminie etc. there are regular recruiters like DE. Shaw abd co.,Wipro, Capegemini, Godrej properties, Sirion Labs etc. What i feel personaly as an eco hons. student unless i build extra i cant really expect placement. Masters and competetive exams are next option

Life when you get into srcc
