- Placement cell is not working. One can have placement on their own but they do not get any assistance from the faculty.
- Students do not get more then 60% marks. Marking scheme is too strict as compared to other law colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview
Brand value of Delhi University is something that everyone is looking for. Delhi University's curriculum not only gives you best place to study but also enormous chances to grow in every aspect. They could do better while hiring the guest faculty. The pattern of exams is semesstral . Difficulty level is also good. we rarely get above 55% marks. people who wants to prepare for judiciary it is a big yes to law faculty,DU.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee circular is very nominal as compared to any other university. Fee hikes in every 10 year around 10 to 20%. we give around 6000 rupees every odd semester and around 3000 as examination Fee every even semester. The hostel facility in pg courses is not good so students have to look out for flats or pgs which starts from 7000 per student without food. Library facility is quite good so one can save on books . University runs various scholarships for socially backward and economically backward students. These scholarships reimburse the whole tuition fee. There are very few chances of having campus placement.
Campus Life
In law faculty there hardly be any fest happens. we celebrate fresher party and farewell party for juniors and seniors respectively. The most of the books that are being used by the professors to teach are available in library and one student can issue max. 4 books at a time. There is a sports scoiety which organises sports meet once a year.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are given on merit basis. there are very few seats available for law students in Post Graduate hostels. Mostly single seater room is there in every hostel. meal is provided 3 times a day and the charges are very pocket friendly. The process to get hostel is quite long, hostels are very affordable if you get a chance to get in. Most of the law students want to stay nearby the college so they reside in vijay nagar, malka ganj, gtb nagar etc.
Admission
Candidates need to have finished their bachelor's or master's degree with 50% marks (for general category/OBC/EWS) or 45% marks (for PH/SC/ST category). There is no age limit for the DU LLB entrance. Application forms are available on CUET website, Application fee is around 750 to 1000rs. Forms would be out in around March of every year. There are overall 3000 seats where 10% seats are reserved for ews category students. The difficulty level of the exam is moderate they usually follow previous year question pattern.
Faculty
There are around 3000 students in 1 semester in all 3 centers that is 1000 students each center and around 30 professors including ad hoc faculty in each center. The professors are well qualified and have expertise in their specialization. Faculty are very much approachable and always ready to take doubts. There are 4 classes of every subject per week and there are 5 subjects in each semester.
