Remarks

There are many negative things about the college like infrastructure is really bad, they do not have adequate faculty, even the faculty they have, does not arrive on time to take lectures. So if you want to take admission in this college, only take admission when you are passionate and serious about law, otherwise you will be wasting you time and money both.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

B.A.LLB course pertains to Law and is the best course for you only if you have passion for law and legal system. The course is divided into 10 semesters with last semester being that of internship and desertation.

Placement Experience

0.5

There is no placement or job opportunities not only in my college but in the entire GGSIP University. So think before you join this college as there is no placement cell, hence you have to find all the internships and jobs after completion of the course on your own.

College Events

2

There are multiple events being conducted in our college such as debate competition, moot court competition, quizzes etc. Also there are many conferences being conducted having known faculty from various colleges. Also you can participate in other colleges competitions representing your college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure as compared to facilities and infrastructure being provided by the college, is pretty expensive as the college does not have good infrastructure, there is no ground for sports and extra curricular activities. Also since last year the college have increased the fee structure, hence now student have to pay 71300 INR for a year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Some schemes are provided by the GGSIP University for the students who cannot afford to pay the fees. But the college does not provide any kind of scholarship. Also student can avail education loan and the college does provide adequate and required documents in order to attain educational loan.

Campus Life

1.5

Extracurricular activities mainly include moot court, debate competitions and quizzes as mentioned above, there are no ground for sports or any other extra curricular activities. Since law does not require any lab, therefore the college does not even have any lab.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

Since I stay in Delhi only, I have not opted for any hostel. Also the college does not have hostel, therefore any outstation student have to find room on their own. Nearby places where you can find a reasonable room is Rohini and shalimar Bagh.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are really helpful as they will always be willing to help you not only with your academics but also with competitions as well. They are very cooperative and are easily approachable. Therefore, if you face any problem or find any difficulty you can easily approach them.

Admission

I got admission through CET which is being conducted by GGSIP University. For securing a seat in any college, you have to get rank as per college value. But since last year, GGSIPU have started taking admissions through CLAT. So you have to give CLAT in order to secure a seat in any college affiliated to GGSIPU

Faculty

3.5

Faculty of the college is good and cooperative but sometimes you will not find any teacher for respective subject and that is the worst part about the college. The college does not have the desired faculty and because of that students and their studies hinder.

Being very passionate about law it brought me closer towards the subjects i thought I'd never like. It's vast curriculum has made me like a lot of subjects and has also given me a real life applications and further academic achievement however I feel like the curriculum should focus on law subjects from the very beginning and teaching could be improved by further interactive session between students and faculty.

The curriculum is good for the real world applications as the course teaches us about the practical work. They can improve their course by adding more moot court practices during the semester and by giving the students the opportunity to practically utilise the bookish knowledge they are gaining.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very much practical knowledge based and helps the students to grow there legal reasoning which helps them to prosper in the profession. Also it helps them to read and correlate the real time judgements being passed, this curriculum prepares the students to understand the reasoning behind the judgements. Though the curriculum is practical knowledge based it still requires many improvements as these case are old and some of them are even overruled, also the we have to write very long answers which needs to be changed as new methods like ooen text book exams can be adopted to improving.
