Academics- The institute mainly works on providing excellent teaching learning process and all these is implemented by the dedicated faculty through rigorous monitoring and evaluation keeping in view the industry needs. Students are made to attend class lectures, case studies, tutorials, assignments, workshops, multimedia presentations, and lectures from the related industry and academia. There are integrated projects combining multiple skills tests. Each and every activity is performed semester wise to keep the students intact with the on-going learning process. Every subject consists of of personality development module which helps the candidates to develop soft skills.
Infrastructure- The classrooms of BCIIT provide the most encouraging environment for dynamic and focused discussions between the students and the faculty members. The classrooms are air conditioned, spacious, and well ventilated in order to facilitate the teaching learning process. Audio visual aids and latest presentation tools for interactive learning are offered to the candidates.
Apart from classroom facilities, the institute also offers repository of learning i.e. the library with over 3000 books on IT and related areas besides the publications and journals. The institute has latest and advanced computers to make the students work for their practical’s which are part of curriculum. An air-conditioned conference room and auditorium with the seating capacity of approximately 25 people equipped with latest audio visual equipment’s acts as a cherry on the cake.
Placement- The institute also provides a placement drive in order to place the students in respective companies. Students of 2011-14 were provided opportunity to appear for 44 companies and 45 students were placed through the same.
