Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is great overall. Along with theory most of the subjects have a practical lab where you get to learn the real-world applications. It's pretty exciting. Also, the exams are very much theory-oriented.
Internships Opportunities
Internships in our college are decent. Many get internships in their 3rd year in great companies like Microsoft and Google. Most of them are paid and some of them are unpaid internships. Some of my friends also went to Taiwan in recent years. Overall there are a lot of opportunities in terms of internship.
Placement Experience
After the 3rd year, you are pretty much eligible for placements or at least after 6th sem. A lot of companies visit every year including Myntra, Microsoft, Atlassian, Flipkart, etc. The highest package in 2024 is 80 lpa and the average is 15 lpa with a median salary of 13 lpa for CSE. For ECE the average package was 14 lpa and the median was 12 lpa. 93 out of 134 students got placed in CSE The placement percentage for ECE is pretty low as most of them go for higher studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is obviously mediocre. Not too high or too low, 12 lakhs approx for 4 years. There's no reduction in fees for category students. Hostel charges are seperate and cost around 12500 along with the mess charge of 4000. You can get scholarships if you are an OBC and apply on time.
Campus Life
The campus is pretty small and basic, however, my campus life has always been enjoyable. There are a lot of clubs where you can participate like art, dance, music, and even gaming. The infrastructure is not at all great but is enough for a normal life. Also, there are nearby shops for groceries.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms are good and spacious. Each room has it's own attached bathroom. However the point to be noted is that the mess food which is too bad in both taste and hygiene. There's also a night canteen and a nescafe treat shop.
Admission
Jee mains is the only way to get into this college. The application process is pretty simple, get your JEE scorecard and participate in the counseling process online. By following trends, you can get CSE at the 98 percentile and ECE at the 96 percentile ( for the general category). For category students, the cutoff is below 90.
Faculty
Most of the facilities are pretty good in their subjects. In my branch which is ECE, the teachers can make you understand the topics well. All the teachers are highly qualified either from IIT NITs or from other reputed colleges.
