Course Curriculum Overview

3

Some of the subjects are good, to develop your basics like in 1st year you will be learning C, C++, Python all those things But there are some subjects like BEEE(Electrical engg),EWS(Engineering workshop) EG(Engineering Graphics) they are boring but you have to pass them. The curriculum is good. Areas of improvement : Add more technical subjects. The frequency of exams after mid sem 2 is very fast, you will write mid internals, lab externals and end sem. Be prepared

Internships Opportunities

3.5

There are good internship opportunities Companies like Salesforce, adobe, realpage and many more come to college and take students Stipend will vary from company to company But you may expect the stipend in the range from 15K to 60K based on the company Mostly the companies visit are product based companies who look for a good problem solver and a good developer, So learn DSA and DEV in a good manner and don't miss any important opportunity. But the current market is not good, so less companies are visiting, But companies are coming nonetheless.

Placement Experience

3.5

The college will provide good campus placement opportunities. From 3 year 2 sem, you will be able to apply for companies, But the college will divide the students based on the exam they conduct before 3 rd year 2nd sem, where they divide students like Elite, A1, A2 batches. Elite will have good opportunities snd A1 will have decent and A2 will have average opportunities. The exam will be on DSA, So practice leetcode well. For details of highest package and all it differs by year and year, You can check the official college page www.kmit.in As far as I know, the highest package in 2024 batch was 42 lpa around More than 70% get placed, but the current scenario is bad, so it might decrease My plan is to get a job and support my family

Fees and Financial Aid

You can join by management and convenor seats Management: You have to pay like 15-16 lakh to get a seat and then pay like around 1lakh per year Convenor: If you got a good rank in TSEAMCET, you will get scholarship, I got full reimbursement as I got rank below 10K. BC, SC, ST can have scholarship too like around 30K to 40K(I don't have much knowledge about their scholarship but they do get). There are nothing like campus employment, but they do have programs like IFS, where you can work as a TA(teaching assistant) and they will give you decent money, But you have to come to college early depending upon timings and manage your studies.

Campus Life

4

There are fests like Dandiya Night, Patang utsav and KMIT evening which are conducted every year, You will have fun for sure There will be flashmobs every now and then The library is very good, Books in library are decent but I never borrowed one. There will be a projector in classroom and the labs are also good, working computers and good internet. Sports as I said are quite low in the college, but there are friends of mine who plays basketball tourneys and volleyball tourneys so, you can get permission to play out side college, the management will provide you permission if you want to represent the college. Clubs: There are plethora of clubs in the college, Technical clubs(recurse), sports clubs(kreeda),dance clubs(mudra), singing clubs(aalap), fashion club(riti), artist club(aakarshan), Photography club(trace of lenses), you name it, the people are good. You can join clubs you want

Admission

Eligibility: Pass 12th and Get rank in TSEAMCET or apply for management quota Management quota: Idk much about management quota, mostly you have to come to college and talk to the management Convenor: Get a good rank, apply through eamcet counselling and if you are lucky enough, you will get a seat in the counselling, For General students, I highly suggest you to get a EWS certificate from MEE SEVA, to avail a decent reservation. The cutoff for general is like around 7K in EAMCET, Idk about other castes. Admission process is good, but it will be good if they remove caste reservation which they won't, So it is what it is

Faculty

3.5

The faculty are good, but some are bad, which is usually the case in most of the colleges So rather than be dependent on the faculty, focus on learning on your own. If you have any doubts, you can approach them and get your doubts clarified

Placement Experience:

From 4th year 1st semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. About 10-15 companies visited our college with minimum 3 lpa. And only 30% of students are placed in the campus placement. Companies like virtuza, movate, cognizant, hcl visited our campus for placement. The highest package was 4.5 lpa and lowest was 2.8 . My plans after getting degree is work in a reputed mnc.

Generally, students from 3rd year second semester are eligible for the placements. some, who are interns at a company earns the place to proceed for the rest of life. some others should try harder because they didnt get the internship. It is important to get internship. Companies do visit vasavi such as visa, silicon labs, cisco and more to pick interns or to pick engineers. percentage around 60-70 gets placed every year. Course Curriculum Overview:

I am very Passionate about Computer Science. So I joined Information Technology which is the same as CSE. Information technology mostly offers the same opportunities as CSE in VNRVJIET. So, I preferred IT in VNRVJIET. In VNRVJIET, Hyderabad faculty: student ratio is approx 1:40 which is considered as Average ratio. Most of the Faculty are PHD Graduates but there are less number of Professors. Mostly there are Assistant Professors whose Teaching Methodology is average to Good but not rated as Better in terms of Teaching. Professors are good at Teaching but Some Assistant Professors are not as good as we expected. There are mostly newly joined PHD faculty members were there who will teach in a slow manner. Every 5-6 months we have Semester Exams which are mostly easy to pass if we have somewhat knowledge of the subject.
