- Enviornment of the college is surreal it is situated in the lap of Himalayas and the weather there is always pleasant. Minimal amount of heat in the summer season and near to Shimla and Chandigarh for connectivity.
- Hostel is good and the hostel amenities are better than expected.
- Campus placement are average and you can also get offers from the main campus jiit in Delhi
Dislikes
- Management is old style and the college professors have also been old style.
- They bother for every small details and there is fine for everything which .
- They don't promote any coding culture or technical support to the students in terms of studies .
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is fine but they have to change the way of conducting major projects and they rely much on theoretical knowledge as compared to the practical one . An exchange program in the final semester with the university of Florida is also there which is very helpful for students.
Placement Experience
Campus placement are average from the college but the support from the main campus makes it easy to get placed . Companies coming for the main campus jiit in noida also visits juit (not all of them) and you can apply in them also . There's no internship support in the college and you have to get it on your own .
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is moderate as compared to other colleges and the benefits they provide in the fee structure includes hostel fees , mess fees , gym fees , laundry fees and the tution fees . There is no scholarship test or any scholarship for normal students and you have to pay the full amount fees in every semester.
Campus Life
There are many clubs in the college and the club responsible for all the events and happenings in the college is jyc it is the main club in juit and the other clubs include ieee , acm , Rotaract which are also encouraging. Fest happens once in a year and it's a technical cum cultural fest . It is conducted by jyc only.
Admission
The admission process is straight forward you can get admission either through jee or through 12th class percentage they conduct a counseling for all the newly admitted students so you get the opportunity to visit the college and test it yourself before getting admission.
Faculty
The faculty members are mostly from reputed colleges but some of them doesn't have the engineering degree and they teach the students in a old fashioned way. They bother the students even in final year which is very crucial for the engineering students.
