I had enrolled for Post Graduation in English Literature in Maharajas during the academic year 2016-18. The course was so enlightening with the faculties and their support. You can witness legends coming up with their ideas and perspectives. The academics were not only confined to the syllabus, but we had seminars, paper presentations, and much more programs under The English Wing. The last semester offers an elective in film studies too. As compared to the other autonomous colleges, the fee is very feasible.

The branding of Maharajas can help you gain better acknowledgment throughout the interviews and higher studies. Since this college holds a significant and unique position among the Best colleges in Kerala, the exposure it provides is immensely helpful. The campus also offers you training classes for UGC Net, CSIR etc.

The Freshers' Day, The Elections(The inevitable celebration of Maharaja's), college day, cultural programs, Art Festivals, sports meets, exhibitions, national and international Seminars etc. You can simply witness the talents of Arts' to Science with the various expo. And then the Maharaja's will never let you down if you are talented enough, the exposure you get from here is unbelievable.

I was from an ordinary middle-class family and the fees were so convenient for me because I enrolled in the Merit list. The overall expense can be rounded to around below 20,000 for 4 semesters. this is indeed a special thing where you can complete your studies with a minimum fee which is feasible for your family in supporting your studies.

The college offers several scholarship plans supported by the Government of India. There are many other scholarships which are awarded on the basis of academic excellence and excellence in Sports. I have not availed any of these scholarships but I am quite sure that these are beneficial for the students.

The campus life is amazing. You will definitely fall in love with the campus from Day 1. You will never get tired of the beauty Maharaja's offers you. Many actors and filmmakers have emerged into the Malayalam industry from this campus. Maharajas is your ultimate option to study and enjoy your life to the fullest. You can meet the diverse classes of people, their struggles, hard works getting paid. The labs and other extracurricular activities would never let you down.

Maharajas holds strong alumni networks and MAHARAJAKEEYAM(a program conducted by Maharajas' for alumni) was the best out of it. The senior students of the pass out batches do visit the college often to recapture their memories. They are always a call away for any help.

It was my dream to get admission in Maharaja's College. The beautiful ambiance surrounding the college along with the recognition of First Government Autonomous College in Kerala attracted me most. I was admitted to this college through the merit list. I had 87% marks for my graduation.

The faculties are highly qualified since this is a Government Autonomous College. Most of the faculties have either completed their Research Programs or are pursuing their research. There are teachers who are enrolled as Research Guides. They are quite experienced and explains the subjects with the utmost care. They offer you individual care and concern for anything and everything relating to academics.
