Curriculum of Industrial and Production deprtment is similar to Mechanical Engineering. In lay-man terms 60 percent curriculum is of Mechanical and 40 percent curriculum of Industrial engineering which relates to data analytics and management of industrial assets and optimization. Professor usaully teach through power point presentation and provide PDF for the same. One thing I dont like is just before the End Semester Examination professors throw assignments and quizzes on you which hinders your prpeapration for exam.

Tuition Fee is generally very high for General and OBC category students,tuition Fee is divided in three slabs First one is for whose family income is less than 1 Lakh per annum they have zero percent tuition fee. First Category for those who have family income less than 1lakh:- Tuition Fee Rs.0/- Other Charges Rs.25500/- Tota fee per semester:-Rs.25500/- Second Category for those have family income between 1lakh and 5lakh :- for hosteller:- Tuition fee Rs.20840/- Other Charges Rs.25500/- Total fee per semester:-Rs.46340 Third Category For those who have famiy income more than 5 lakh:- For Hosteller:-Tuition fee Rs.62500/- Other Charges Rs.25500/- Total Fee per semester:-Rs.88000 Hostel Fee:- 1st Semester Rs.35000/- Second Semester onwards Rs.25000/- Regarding scholarship :- General Male students dont get any scholarship

There are Two major events held in the institue Utkansh which is held in the month of March. TechNiti which is held in the month of september. Campus life is good. Snackers, Nescafe ,Night Canteen and Campus cafe re canttens present in the campus.

For first Year there are three Hostels BH-1,BH-2 and BH-5. Bh-1 and Bh-2 are 4 seater and BH-5 is 2 seater. Bh-5 hostel is of very bad condition and mess food is not good and rooms are conjusted. Bh-1 and BH-2 are comparable , mess of BH-2 is good as compared to other hostels. BH-1 has Big garden.

Admission is based on Jee Mains Ranks and is done Through Josaa and CSAB councelling Cutoff are increasing day by day as college ranking is going up. You have to report at the institute for physicaal verification and document verification and I recommend you to go half an hour early from the reporting time otherwise your whole day will be occupied with the reporting.

The faculty here are highly qualified and all are Phd holders from various reputed IIT's.Most of the Teachers are very linient and very friendly while interacting with the students.From Example,Dr. Satyender Singh(assistant professor at Department of mechanical engineering) He is highly knowledgeable and gives engineering examples based on our surroundings and daily life which we dont pay attention sometimes. Faculty members are readily available for students for solving there doubts and mentoring them in right directions. Some professors are strict and dont entertain silly doubts.
