- Decend campus , infrastructure is good , good students specially in higher branches
- Technical societies doing great work , placements are decent (obviously if you are passing theri placement criteria)
- This college is not much strict for 75% attendance. 60-70 % is enough to write exams
Dislikes
- Mess food is not up to the mark , should be better
- They don't provide Air conditioner in the class rooms
Course Curriculum Overview
As i am in first year computer science student i must say whatever they teach in first year is not going to help you in your career however their is a lab named soft skill lab may help you. They must teach at least something in first year which is related to industry demands And about exams Their are three exams named CIA in 1 semester which decides your internal marks And end semester which is for 70 marks conducted by aktu
Placement Experience
College placements are decent (not up to the mark) . After 3rd year students are eligible for campus placements . Highest package of our college is lie between 40 - 50 lpa And average package lie between 5 - 6 lpa . Percentage of student placed is 90 above (for students who are eligible for campus placement)
Fees and Financial Aid
I dont heard about any fee increasing policy till now . Complete cost of my four year engineering is about 4,75,000 for college fee + 3,92,000 for college hostel + other expenses (let 3k per month 1,44,000 ) = 10 lakhs plus . Scholarship is there for lower family incomes Anount depends on cast and expences I got Scholarship of 57000 in a year for general having family income less than 2 lakh
Campus Life
Campus life is good . Few things irritates me which is small campus size (28 acres) and limited hostel seats . Name of our technical fest is zealicon held in April. Library is one of the attraction of our college, well maintained and wide range of books . Sports ans extracurricular activities are also held by respective societies.
Admission
You have to appear in jee mains and secure percentile more than 93 (for cse general cat.) After jee result you have to appear in uptu councelling process. 15 % seats are reserved for management quota which i didn't like
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is is ok (not quite good) , all the teachers are not up to the mark Some are quite good and their approach to teaching is excellent but also their are few teachers who are not well in teaching . But yess all the teachers are supportive and interactive
