ZGC : THE HEAVEN

As a whole, THE ZAMORINS GURUVAYOORAPPAN COLLEGE is in the top 10 colleges in Calicut or as a whole in Kerala because it provides such wide facilities to the students.

I heard about this college before I reach here. In everyone's opinion, this is a college where we get a real college life as well as a career. college life is always the best thing to remember after many years and I took a strong decision of taking a college where I can have too much memories so I opted this college for my graduation.

In my opinion, as I choose a rare combination which is a double main course, the first 2 semesters were very simple. But after that, it got too tough to catch especially the Malayalam which is entirely different from what we studied in plus two. Apart from that, it was very nice to go with the flow.

I think our college does not provide the internship. As I said I was a ba sociology/Malayalam student, we didn't need an internship for our kind of study.so I'm not much aware of the other departments whether they provide internship or not.

I'm not much clear about the company details or placement details as I'm not in a course where they provide placements or other facilities.so I cannot share the correct details about that. In our college there are BSC, BCOM, BA courses were available. In BA course there are no placements done.

As every college have we to have many programs in every year including the election, freshers day, union inauguration, victory day, annual celebration, fine arts, department day, keralapiravi ulsavam, Onam celebration, Christmas celebration, holi celebration and many more. ZGC is very energetic for every celebration mood and they are all well celebrated.

We only need to pay the university fees. There are no other fees for any other things so that it is very feasible for every kind of people. There are also fee reductions for SC/ST students. For the 3 years, we only need to pay a small amount for our studies.

There are scholarships for good studying students and all.... & I'm not aware whether there is loan facilities and all.

As I said in my review heading ZGC is heaven. Everyone wishes to study in a college like this. The atmosphere of this college makes us very much related to nature. The kailasam, vaikundam, bhudhan, canteen, auditorium, and all give us lifelong memories. every zgcian will definitely miss this college life and this campus. The sports team every time go for a zone Interzone competitions, we have a good number of sportsmen who achieved a good career in their field.

As compared to the whole ZGC we can find a small defect only in this hostel matters. I was not a hosteler there. But I heard about some issues which have reported there. Food was also a problem. But now it has improved. Apart from these defects, every hosteler loves to be there with their kind of mood people and that made their world.

Every senior who went out of this campus have a bond inside which makes us keep in touch and that bond is called ZGC

We have the semester system that is we have 6 semesters for graduation course. every 1 year we have 2-semester exams. Faculties from another college came to manage the exam.we have a small amount of exam fee which is provided by the university. the exam duration is 3 hours.

After completing my plus two I registered for the allotment process. I got allotted to this college in the second allotment process and I went to the college and submitted my certificates to the department. After that, I was to the principal room and had a talk with our principal. Admission processes were very simple and it only took 1 hour to complete the process.

This is the main attraction of our college, which is our teachers. everyone supports each other for their curriculum activities and also other extra curriculum activities. The teaching skills are too good and many of the faculties are very friendly and also at the same time serious in their duties.
