The best thing about zamorins guruvayurappan college is its ambience
When you entered the college you enter another world.
There are many places like kailasam vaikundam which you can explore

Dislikes

Poor network connection is the main issue in the college u cant call a person or do a online payment is difficult.
Too much distance from bus stop to college so students have to walk so long which is uncomfortable
Poor sports room not that much facility.

Course Curriculum Overview

As a plus two science graduate student i opted bachelor of commerce because of the job opportunity in the commerce field. The preparation is not that much of a big thing there are things like industrial visit which improves our knowledge More Industrial visit for students would be a good teaching method as students will not get boredom. Every 6 months there is semester exams.

Class Size: 51Course Fees: INR 33000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tutuon fee is around 1000 something per year Caution fee is 10000 Sc and st students also should pay caution there are seats reserved for them There are many scholarship like e grant scholarship Oomman chandy scholarship which is given by ksu zgc.

Campus Life

My overall experience was good about college it was the best moments in my life . I am also in the college cricket team so my social life was great. There are many Programs like fine arts,management fest which are good programs.

Admission

I choose this college because of its beauty and ambience and sports activities as a student from zamorins school. It was dream to join zamorins guruvayurappan college. I did not get rejection it was a wish to study in this college First you have to apply in the calicut university site give deatils about your 12th results.

Faculty

There are various courses like bachelor of arts,bachelor of science,bachelor of commerce and many PG courses. The exams are moderately difficult ,there are total 6 semester exams for UG and 4 semester exams for pg.

My Experience at the university

Placement Experience:

Since I'm in the 1st semester, i really don't have a great idea about the placements but as far as I know Chinmaya Vishwa vidyapeeth university has their dedicated training, placement and corporate relations center. The highest package was 7 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. The average package might be 4 LPA. Nike, mastek are the few companies who came to recruit After completing my degree, i might go for a job and then complete my PG.

soem subjects i feel very unnecessary are IKS and SANSKIRT..even so collectively speaking nobody understands the reason why they are being asked to learn iks(Indian knowledge system).and for sanskirt we could argue its a language and learning it would be some consideration a skillset but even though if that is the case we mustn't force somebody to learn it.it should be a choice

Students from 6th semester is eligible for campus placements. Infosys,Tcs, allianze, guidehouse etc are main companies visited. Average package was 3-5lpa Most of the students opt for higher studies than placement but students who appeared for placement more than half of them got job offers. The course curriculum is kinda good like it's informative i got to study many things I didn't knew and it was interesting but practically no use..No practical sessions are provided for us so we have no practical skills only theory so they should improve that. Exams are normally not so tough not too easy you should study to pass .

Placement Experience:

The Heaven

The admission process was simple. There is no cut-off at ZGC. The candidate should be a 12th pass. The application form, application fees and application date can be found on their website. I got admitted to the merit quota. So all together the expense was just Rs10000. I didn't get any reservation benefits. I was in the OBC category. I think there should be some improvement in the admission process. I think all the admission procedures should be made possible from one office itself. They have 2 offices, one in Thali.
