Remarks

The college should have more freedom to its students and should improve faculty quality.

Entrance Preview

The college has decent placement record. In fact, the placement record is one of the best among the peer group of colleges. Facts say that more than 85 percent people are generally placed in every academic year. It has a good training package which starts in the third year of the degree and individual attention is taken care of. That's what made me join this college for my eamcet rank.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is given in the form of a well-made booklet which has all the course details and schedules semester wise. To impress NBA, our college specifies course outcomes and course objectives for each and every subject in a semester and will try to rate a student in each of those course objectives and outcomes.

Internships Opportunities

No internship specifically. But the job opportunities might include an internship to the selected candidates. The college does encourage students in that aspect.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placements and job opportunities are one the best in the industry. Companies like Deloitte, value labs, Kony, clear trip, by us, advisor, Accenture, ggk tech etc have visited the campus this year. More than 80% of people will get placed if they are talented enough. But most of them are IT. Don't expect a lot of core opportunities.

College Events

3.5

Every year the college conducts freshers day in and around September. There will an intercollege sports event which includes cricket, volleyball, basketball etc. This event is conducted in December and almost all top colleges in the city participate. In March, there will be the college fest, "Ciencia" Which is conducted for 2 days with a number of technical and non-technical events. Many other minor events continuously take place in the college. You need to be active to get to know about them.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite expensive. Now it's almost a 1 lakh per year as tuition fee. The bus fee will be around 25000 per year. The hostel fee would be 70000 per year. Given the situation of the present market and opinions, the fee is quite expensive with the facilities provided. But a cse guy would get a lot of placement chances, so, its worth it.

Fees and Financial Aid

It's basically a government scholarship for backward castes and for students who have a rank below 10000 in EAMCET. The loan is bank-specific and nowhere related to college.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel food is pretty decent. Non-veg is available on a day every week. The hostel warden is really friendly. Recently, the girl's hostel is constructed And it has decent security. The hostel boys would be given sports items to play. They have a hostel cricket ground as well.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni of CVR are pretty famous. The director of the film "Ghazi", Sankalp reddy is an alumnus of CVR. Similarly, Prashant Verma, director of " Awe" Is an alumnus of CVR too. But technically, every department and every sector has a guy from CVR. But to actually reach out them, it would be really difficult.

Exam Structure

The exams are the weakest link in CVR. Every semester there are 2 internal exams called mid exams and 1-semester end examination. Generally, it quite easy to pass these examinations as you already know the "important" Questions. This is where the quality of students for CVR is vulnerable.

Admission

Basically, I got admitted through the convenor quota. So first I had to clear TS EAMCET with a decent rank. The college stands 4th among the colleges in the city. So it's better to have a good rank to get a seat here. But always there is a management quota available. I had to go through certificate verification etc and fee payment.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of the college, on an average, are good. But there are a lot of rotten tomatoes in the bunch. Each department has at least two to three professors with good industry experience. But, there are quite a few lecturers who are not that good in academics.

Placement Experience:

So coming to placements they will provide good no. of placements if we have skills and keen of intrest to learn new things and grab oppurtunities. Also our colleg has NACC and NBA accredation there will be more companies approaching our college and taking students for placements and trainging. TP CELL will give its 100% in placements pushes students forward for various trainings and placements. Basically placement starts froms 3-2 mostly form 4-1 where students go to attend interviews and attend exams. companies like Infosys, Wypro, My schools, Infotech, and many MNC's. every year almost 150-200 students will be selected for placements. average package will be 3.0 - 4.5LPA and the highest package is 7.5LPA . their package is decided by companies according to the role they applied and thier level of skill. 45- 50% of the students will be selected for the placements. My plans after getting the degree: If i got selected in placement its well and good i will proceed further with the placement i got incase if didnt get placed i will try of the jobs and then shortly start a business.

Placement Experience:

During 3-1 , we get only one internship i.e JPMC offering 75,000 per month which is of 3-month internship. Thhis year it took around 16 students. through coding round, hire vue interview and the hackathon process. I was selected to hackathon but sadly due to communication skills lack, I was not selected as intern , although I passed coding round, hire vue interview and entered hackathon. From 4-1 onwards we get placement oppurtunities like Deloitte, Chubb, oracle, DE Shaw, etc companies visit and offer good package only.
