Course Curriculum Overview
I selected the course due to my interest in management . The curiculum is giggly theory based and doesn't offer a lot of learning. The course is an average course similar to bcom. focus should be put more on practical learning. Examination system is great with the variety of internals collected but it becomes pointless due to poor invigilation
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities available are not fixed and very random with very few opportunities available to a handful of students in the whole batch. Edwise, Radiant are a few companies which had come for internship.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for campus placement in the 5th semester . Companies such as E&Y visit. Highest package offered this year was 5.5 lakhs and average is around 2.5 in finance. only select students get placement. Plan to pursue MBA after this
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees has not changed in the last 2 years of me being in the course for us. The complete cost would be somewhere around 3.75 lakhs and no scholarships are available from the colleges end. There is no campus employment
Campus Life
No fests are done in this college . Most books regarding this circulum are available in the library but no books outside it. Classrooms are very bad in terms of cooling in the summers with minimal fans and no ac. Barely any sports or extracurricular are held and a select few clubs operate in the college.
Admission
Eligibility was very minor, with passing required in school. Application form had to be collected from college itself. One admission test was conducted which was very easy and almost everyone who applied got admission
Faculty
There are 60 students in each class. The facility is mostly phd but the teaching program is very sad as the only thing done in majority of the classes is to write notes and very minimal teaching. Teachers are fairly approachable but not always.
Interview Experience
Only a 5min PI was taken for admission by the principal in which some general questions were asked. The rounds were easy and just a formality. Everyone who applies and has passed their boards gets in.
