Heritage Academy Insights.

Likes

The faculty is helpful in a lot of ways and at times. They guide us perfectly.
The infrastructure is pretty good, good for engaging in sports.

Dislikes

75 percent Attendance is mandatory for everyone.
Classrooms get heated up during summers in the city.

Summing up my 3 year experience in The Heritage Academy.

Likes

The faculty members are nice mostly. They're nice behaviour wise.
College environment is good. Through out the college life there were no case of ragging. They sign an anti ragging after admission.

Dislikes

There is no air conditioning in classrooms. Its scorching hot and humid, all you do is sweat all the time.
Placement cell could have been better only one company (Ernest and Young) came up with a 5+ Lpa offer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well as i mentioned all the theory part will somehow help in your basic undersdtanding of the corporate world. But there were limited opportunies for career growth. The course curriculum will get your foundations strong but will not provide a deep understanding. The curriculum was not tough it is easy and one can achieve good marks even if he pays a little attention or studies on the last month left for exams.

The college is really good.The faculty is also nice.The college is also popular and the placements here are also very nice.We also get internship opportunities and support from college in getting these opportunities.College also enables students to
discover many opportunities where the students can know the real world.Met many new people and made new friends.The campus is also very large.Canteen is also there in the campus and outside the college too we have some small shops for eating.

Dislikes

The college campus is large that we get late for class.Its a disadvantage in one way.We can get internship from both outside as well as from college.It’s our choice.Placement is also provided in the third year.
The teachers here are good and supportive and people from outside of Kolkata also come to study in this college.There are hostel facilities too inside the college for girls.

Course Curriculum Overview:

BBA is a degree which can help me pursue MBA sun future.So I took this degree.It explains you the basics of an MBA background and your concepts gets cleared from the start itself. In this college the teaching is good which enhances the quality of study as well as the concepts to be cleared. The curriculum also prepares for the real world from practical knowledge which are taught to the students of the college through seminars, workshops, industrial visits, placement opportunities, internship opportunities, learning new courses, etc. The timings of the class is also very good and matches great with the requirements of the syllabus which is to be taught. The timing of exams is also good. We also get some study leave before exams. The difficulty level is the exams is not fixed. Sometimes the paper comes easy and sometimes they are very tough. We have to study all the modules to score good in the exam and understand the concepts well. The teaching methods is very focused on every student

The college has a friendly faculty and very flexible attendance
Good peers to study with, friendly people and smart.

I selected the course due to my interest in management . The curiculum is giggly theory based and doesn't offer a lot of learning. The course is an average course similar to bcom. focus should be put more on practical learning. Examination system is great with the variety of internals collected but it becomes pointless due to poor invigilation

There is access to WiFi for the students.

I chose BBA for graduating because I have always been interested to learn about entrepreneurship and had commerce in my 10+2, I wish to pursue an MBA after completing my BBA from the Heritage Academy. The internships and placements at the college are extremely good. The faculty: student ratio is 13:1. The faculties here are well qualified, supportive, and friendly, each one of them has their own unique teaching pattern, great explanations, interactive lessons, and notes are provided after each lesson. After 4 continuous internal assessments, the term exams were held and their difficulty level would be moderate to easy to pass.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always wanted to go on the professional side of the business that is why I chose BBA . Student ratio is as per the limited seats in the college the faculty is good. Due to the Covid lockdown all the classes are being held on the google meet if any problem with any topic they will provide extra classes if needed. Due to the lately starting of the session and change in syllabus the term exam was held a bit late or else it is held within an interval of 6 months .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I wanted to learn management and possibly carry on with MBA Well, there is a 60 student: 1 teacher ratio but because of the online classes, I cannot review the teaching method based on that. There were multiple CA and a semester exam after 6 months of my admission.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very good as college as to follow MAKAUT released syllabus because this college comes under MAKAUT. I have chosen BBA because I want to know how the market work and the main reason is to opt for MBA. In BBA only 120 students were taken in college as the students no. are low faculty members can give their 100% to us. Faculty are well qualified some of them have done their post graduation abroad. The exam was taken on time as our college follow UGC guidelines very strictly.

Best college ever

Course Curriculum Overview:

1. Because further, I want to do MBA and to make my carrier in this field. 2. 8:10 3. All are masters in his field and their teaching method is good and yeah simple and friendly. 4. 6 months timely 2 times. It's tough but if you studied hard in class then it will be just normal.
