The Infrastructure of the college is decent.
There is also a good focus on all round development by making students involve in other activites like sports , cultural activites etc.
Engaging classes that constantly challenges us

Dislikes

The faculty here is little overrated. All they have is ego.
No prior planning is done. Worst in the administration.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was quite disappointed with the cirriculum that has been designed. Its not at all tailored to teach you the approaches for solving the real world problems . The cirriculum is atleast 10 years behind. The same old things are taught. Talking about exams, they are conducted for every quarter of a semester.

Class Size: 66Course Fees: INR 160000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The present tuiton fee is around 1,60,000 . There is a tuition fee increase policy. The students can avail scholarships from the government depending on their performance in the eamcet. The scholarships are of two types , one is full fee waiver and other provides a subsidy close to 30,000.

Campus Life

The campus life at MGIT is decent . Every year a fest is conducted typically in may , june . Students are given the oppurtunity to join the club of their interest . speaking about the library , it is well equipped with the books and journals . Every year sports events are conducted .

Admission

You can get an admissions through 3 ways . First method is through state level engineering entrance exam. The cutoff for cse is around 10000. I'm not aware of the latest details. The second way is throught B-category, which considers your JEE mains score and third method is through managment quota. I am pretty much satisfied with the admission process.

Faculty

2.5

Most of the faculty have PHD's or pursuing one. The faculty's abiltiy to teach what is in the books is appreceable, but when it comes to teaching the things that are actually necessary to solve real world problems , they are in the back foot for sure. They dont even make some effort . The faculty to student ration here is 1:65.

Absolutely unsatisfied because of faculty and lack of placements.

Placement Experience:

Right Iam in 7 th semester ending,no company came to our college to recruit us.May be in 8 th sem companies will come.My seniors got in some companies like TCS, Infosys,Capgemini etc..with an average of 3.6 lpa.And all students did not get placed just 10 students in each class got placement.We need more placements to satisfy the students.

Placement Experience:

There are many companies costing the campus for recruitement like Accenture ,Infosys , keka , Accenture , infor etc and many other startup . They mostly consider students from Cse background but even allow others if they have skills . Accenture and cognisant will hire many students and there pay would be around 5 lakh per year for service roles . If they take for other roles then the salary is more 60-70% people get placed , some prefer doing masters even though they are placed

The placements here are good and the highest package for this year 2024 is around 54 lakhs and last year the Highest package is 42 lakhs offered by Amazon there are placements available for every branch and the average package is 9 lakhs

The world inside GRIET

Placement Experience:

After the third year or 6th Semester you can take part in placements. There has been a lack of companies visiting this year. So far Infosys, accenture, cognizant, LSEG, Verisk have come for placements. The details are unknown to all the people but the highest package yet has been around 16-20 LPA. The Percentage of students getting placed is less compared to previous years around 20-30%

this is the best college for the students who are very auspicious and determined

i did applied for various colleges like chaitanya bharathi intistute of technolgy,vasavi ,vjr college etc and this college i got admissions in vasavi college and mgit but in vasavi college i got civil branch in which i don't have intrest and got IT department in mgit so i choose mgit over vasavi college and i got rejected by cbit, cvr college because i got eamcet rank which are not enough to get admissions in those colleges .In MGIT ,the minimum rank for the cse is 6000 and for ece and ET's the rank is 11000 for general category and we also have B category in which the students can get admissions through there jee mains percentile...Read More
