Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Talking about carriculum, our college follows the KTU carriculum adn we have the 2019 syllabus they update the carriculum every four years. TBH they have pretty average real world applications so far, even tho they update every four years most of the things that are taught today are the same as those taught many years ago, there's only few changes. but i suppose that is mostly same with every university. In each semester there are 2 series exams which is prepared by the colleges and one end semester exam prepared by unversity.

Placement Experience

2

from sixth semester, you will recieve placement training and companies will come to give you interview, you have to be well prepared and if you have skills you will get placed. the frequently visited companies include TCL, Infosys, popular mega motors, ecoval, etc. the highest package is around 6-8LPA and average is 3-4Lpa THe percentage placed is low comparitively

Fees and Financial Aid

the tution fee is 35K per annum, but adding exam fee, special fee, etc. it rounds upto about 42k each year i am a merit student, and this is my case, you also have to pay PTA fund and other miscellaneous fees when you join, which would round upto 60-70k, but this is only for first year. As for scholarships you have to apply for those yourself, you have E-grants, MCM, central sector, etc. they cover only part of your fees, and is not assured to approve.

Campus Life

4

The tech fests of each department is conducted around the end of even semesters, such as terranis, mechathlon , etc There are a wide variety of Engneering related books, Whicb you can utilise along your engineering life. The projectos and screens aere limited to certain classrooms, but they do have on seminar hall on each block. there are many types of extra crriculars you can participate in, and the college has a huge ground. arts and sports fest is conducted each year. overall you can have a pretty good campus life.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The faculty provided in the hostel are very friendly. for the menu and meal quality, it is pretty average. but considering other hostels it is okay-ish. as for affordability, it is pretty affordable and for first year you get around 4000 per month including mess fee.

Admission

For CSE you need to have around 20K keam rank to join, or you can join management depending on your ranks. you can find the fee and dates and all on the college site depending on your cast, there are reservations. if you have come prepared with the given certificates on the site or announced by keam, you can get admission pretty seamlessly

Faculty

3

most of the faculties are well qualified, and some has very good teaching methods which can help you a long way. still, as everything, the college does have a few rotten apples, who lack enthusiasm to their subject or, purely dislike the students. you can approach teachers anytime, which is good. overall average

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because the curriculum covers key subjects like Python, Machine Learning, Data Science, and Deep Learning right from the early semesters. The inclusion of electives such as IoT, Cloud Computing, and NLP made it future-relevant and versatile.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

Placement Experience:

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
